Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 3 nights, B&B. Hotel felt modern & was very comfortable. The room was quite large with generally good facilities, although we would have liked tea & coffee in the room. We did miss this..
No significant noise from the main street outside. Double glazing was effective and also the traffic levels did reduce during the night anyway. There was some noise inside from people closing doors and from passers by in the corridors, but not so bad that it was a problem. There is a "pillow menu" in the room if you need to change the one you have.
Location was very central. Easy access to everywhere.
Would use again if we return to Alicante.

Initially I had problems reserving the room on the Eurostars website, but the problem was solved very quickly talking by telephone to Belén in reception. Thank you once again for your help. Check in was very easy and the staff was very helpful. I had asked for a room on a higher floor and was given a room on the 10th floor, so that was perfect. The room and bathroom were very clean, although the bathrooms are beginning to look a little outdated now. The beds were very comfortable and there is a pillow menu in the room. The breakfast was ok but the dining room was a tad chaotic, but that perhaps was my fault for leaving it until late on a Sunday morning to go for breakfast. I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for visitng the centre of Alicante, the old town and the port.

So central walked everywhere, airport taxi only 20 euro. Rooms were so nice and cold after being out in the heat all day!
Twin beds even tho asked for double so not great for a romantic getaway,
Breakfast was really disappointing no sausages weird eggs no Irish/English breakfasts, ended up having toast everyday.
Besides breakfast and beds it was the perfect place to stay when your going to be out and about, definitely coming back

The room was very average, no arrival water, no drink facilities in the room. Was given twin beds rather than the double that I asked for. The lighting in bathroom gives of so much heat that it makes both the bathroom and the room difficult. Aircon wasn't working so asked reception who said that they had organised for the temperature to be changed to cold yet it still didn't work. Had problems with the entry door cards. If you use the parking agreement that they have with San Cristobal - once your car is there you cannot take it out and put is back without a penalty when you return! They forgot to tell me about this.
On the plus side - it is well located and there is a lady who works in the breakfast hall who is amazing, such a happy, friendly and approachable lady! Unfortunately the range of food available at breakfast is limited.

Excellent hotel, its location for visiting Alicante is ideal, the bus from the airport stops across the road, the tram station is just across the road and for walking ,10 minutes will get you most places.
Rooms are a quite a reasonable size , very clean and housekeeping is regular.
The food choice at breakfast was varied with options for everyone without the normal cluttered breakfast area.
We stayed on the 10th floor and if I was been really fussy, the wait for the lift at busy times was longer then expected but worth it for the lovely view over Alicante, the Castle and the sea.
The reception staff are very helpful offering maps and tips as required.

Very pleased with our decision to choose this hotel in Alicante.
Opposite the airport bus stop and tram station close by.
Literally across the road from the market which is a great place to walk around and experience the delights of the region.
Restaurants and bars, shops and cafes on the doorstep, pretty Christmas decorations and a real friendly buzz around the city.
Easy check-in, extremely helpful informative staff.
We were allocated a corner room on the 7th floor, which was exceptionally spacious and light, even a huge bathroom window. All the usual room amenities you would expect. Personally, the bed was too hard although pillows and linen lovely. The bathroom’s toiletries were very pleasant, good sized towels and decent shower over a bath. Very quiet at night considering the central location.
Breakfast was buffet style, good quality and lots of choice, served in a spacious dinning room, I would recommend the fresh bread.
The hotel did lack a little imagination in its décor, dark reception/lobby area (lots of potential to make it more inviting) the small bar didn’t really function.
Overall, great location, good value for money and spotless throughout

This was my first visit to the Eurostars Lucentum in Alicante, although I’m ow the city and area quite well..
The hotel is very conveniently located, just 100m from the Mercado tram stop. If you’re arriving by airport bus, there’s a bus stop directly opposite.
Lucerne, the tram terminal, is about 300m away and the train station is about 500m up the road.
The hotel has a large reception area with the reception desk immediately to the right as you enter. My arrival was handled efficiently by smiling and pleasant staff. I was allocated a room on the 9th floor with a rear view, so not looking out onto the main road.
The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable with a pretty firm mattress. Fine for me but some may prefer something softer.
Lifts to upper floors are at the back of the reception area facing the front doors. There’s a vending machine for snacks to the left.
Breakfast is good and served on the -1 floor, one below reception, and currently costs around €14.
I had breakfast in the hotel each morning but ate out in the evenings.
I would return to this hotel because it’s very welcoming and conveniently located in a lively area, about 300m from the port and beach area.

Hotel was nice and clean. Housekeeping doing them job very well. Receptionist they seems don’t care too much about them customers. I got room with twin bed when I specifically request double bed she just told me try tomorrow they might move you. I believe being receptionist you can see ability for next day. After I asked another receptionist she put my request and told definitely we can move next day...
also I got some small flu, and I was not able to make a hot tea in the room because they don’t have this facilities plus room service doesn’t work on weekends too...
location is good and thanks again housekeeping team for making room nicely everyday ☺️

Good hotel, with little organization when it comes to cleaning the rooms, since they assume that all the rooms will be empty until mid-afternoon, and on the first day they did not come to clean it, the girl on the 8th floor apologized, but with the price of the room they should be more careful. The girl at the reception was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is the usual somewhat oxidized fruit, 3 types of cakes repeated daily and common sausages...pastries and bread!!

Excellent room on the 4th floor, comfy bed and pillows. Bath with shower over it. Clean, neat and tidy. Quiet - not disturbed by any noise from neighbouring rooms. TV in room with the usual selection of radio and tv stations - only 1 English language news station (Bloomberg) it would have been nice to have an alternative such as BBC World or CNN. Excellent and plentiful buffet breakfast. Room cleaning staff were lovely as were the breakfast room staff and the reception team too. Ironing board and iron available on request. The hotel is centrally situated within easy strolling distance of the beach, promenade, Santa Barbara Castle, San Fernando Castle, shops, bars and restaurants. A walkable distance to the bus station and railway station - though I wouldn't choose to undertake either walk with lots of luggage. Travelled mid September and would stay here again.

The answer to your question is no.
The hotel does offer all beverages at breakfast and there are many cafes close by the hotel that will also sell you a cup of tea.
It's about a 15 minute drive and around 25 euros
