Villa accommodation is next to the University of Alicante. It's a big complex perfect for stay as holiday events and business meetings. Accessed directly by motorway or public transport bus and train (5 minutes walk), that is the place to stay if you are looking to be near the center of Alicante but in a more relaxed setting. We have 160 rooms with private bathroom, kitchenette with mini fridge, parking and WiFi. Apart from the common areas include the outdoor pool and garden area and fitness room. In our restaurant / buffet you can enjoy the Mediterranean diet at a very affordable price. If your destination is the University of Alicante this is your accomodation!

I’m staying as a student of university of Alicante in Villa Universitaria here. The price is pretty high so were my expectations. As I arrived I found everything okay. As I’ve been spending more time, I found many disadvantages.
1) I had problems with my key and the lock all the time. And though I clearly had problems staff didn’t do a thing but ignore my complains. I had to leave the door open by the end just to get in next time. Only when I started a serious argument they sent me a worker and he repaired the lock.
2) at first there was a microwave and one day I woke up and it was gone. For my question I got “it is not included” but I’ve seen microwave in other rooms.
3) there are vegetables for breakfast, it’s the same everyday: cheese, ham and lots of dough. To be honest there are no fresh vegetables at all. Everyday for lunch and dinner there is only a “salad” of 3 tomatoes cherry, olives, corn and lettuce. Coffee is a whole other thing...
4) the shower doesn’t properly work, water is spreading all over the bathroom. Th shelf in the shower is crooked so I can’t even put my shampoo and other staff there, it’s always falling down.
5) there was no toilet brush (it may be not the most important thing, but I wish you luck to keep everything clean without it)
6) dinner is at 20:30!! But it’s just a common Spanish thing, dinner is always very late.
7) finally, it’s not a disadvantage, just a friendly warning. It’s 40 minutes to Alicante so if you want to spend more time in city, it’s better find smth there. It will be cheaper and more convenient.
8) you better speak Spanish, staff doesn’t enjoy much speaking English

It is a good and well organized hotel but you should choose your room far a way from football area. Some people playing football and shouting during the game just back side garden of the hotel. Do not hope too much from breakfast. If the price is fine d not think to stay at this hotel. It takes 15 minutes to reach hotel form central train station of Alicante. Line 3 and 5 from central train station goes directly to the airport. So it is easy to reach to the airport as well. Taxi cost you 12-13 euro from hotel to central train station.

I stayed here with my little brother for a week in August. It was ok..the rooms were cleaned most days, the pool was lovely, breakfast was good and the ladies at reception were very helpful indeed. However, the lifeguard was very rude and made my brother and I feel very uncomfortable. There was also big white streaky marks on the wall in the bedroom. We found that there wasn't much to do around the area, the nearby restaurants weren't great and it wasn't a very 'touristy' area that we had hoped for. But it was lovely heat and a good few days being by the pool.

We had a great holiday in Alicante and the choice of hotel played a big role. It is in a beautiful vibrant suburb, twenty minutes from the city by tram. The bed was comfortable, staff friendly, pool inviting. If and when we visit Alicante again this will be our first choice.

Very quite and clean hotel with a nice pool and a perfect service. It's a bit distant from the center of Alicante (15 minutes driving), but the price/quality is really unbeatable in my opnion, even in the high season. Very relaxing and very pleasant staying at this hotel for a cheap price.

Directly across the street from campus this is an excellent place to stay when visiting the cool. Nicely appointed rooms for a more than reasonable price. A few minutes walk to the tram station running all the way to the city center. A cab ride to the water in Alicante is 12 euros.
