The casitas are a good base for exploring the island. It is far away from all the mass tourism areas, located in a little village in the mountain. The whole building has recently been renovated and its atmosphere is very relaxing :) (the room upstairs overlooks the sea!).The hosts are very friendly and tell you which parts of the island...

i really enjoyed my yoga week at Casitas at the end of Nov 2011. It was my first time travelling alone so needless to say I was a little anxious. From the moment I arrived everthing was perfect. Penny yoga instructor collected us at the airport. The location of the Casitas was perfect for me as I wanted the real island...

You will see...the green north. You will find...everything clean and cosy. You will get to know...an open-hearted host and little „Moqui“. You will live...with curious minds and beautiful souls. And you will feel...home.

Nicest budget place to stay! absolutely clean, beautyfully furnished, nice view and friendliest people on earth ;-) Perfect for couples or single travellers. Car is highly recommend but you´ll stay in an authentic little island village - far away from mass tourism and still close to many beautiful places. Pet the dog, talk to the cat, listen to the wind,...

I stayed at the Casitas with my husband and two children. We were offered a spacious two bedroom apartment, with one bathroom (with a slightly temperamental shower) and an open plan kitchen/sitting room. It was basic but very clean and comfortable. What made this place special was the terrace with its wonderful views of the seaside village of Arrieta and...

Sparkling clean facilities and the friendliest atmosphere! The place is within biking distance from all major attractions in the northern part of the island. Great adventurous hiking (because of minimalistic indications) to Famara or around the top of the Corona. I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go again! Thank you Caroline and Rich for being such wonderful hosts!

This is the best place to stay in if u dont like crowded turistic places! Caroline and Richard are excellent hosts and they would go the extra mile to make u feel like home. Casitas is a home away from home indeed! The best thing you can do is to rent a car, stay in Casitas and tour around the...

I have stayed there for two weeks in Octobre, needed a peaceful place to write, to concentrate on my work and to relax at the same time, to enjoy the sun and the seaside. This would have been the ultimate programme of loneliness in all the tourist places southwards on Lanzarote. But it resulted to become my best holidays forever....
