Great little place, amazing value for money. Very friendly hosts, nice and very clean room, great views from the balcony. Very close to the car park, also, just on the edge of the old town. Highly recommended.
The Los Palacios is only small, but has bundles of character and fabulous views across to the old town, cathedral and the castle. Parking is a little tricky, but the public car park is very close by and relatively easy to access, even if the road to it is three quite tight hairpin bends. We received a wonderfully warm welcome, despite our Spanish being minimal and our hosts English being just as limited. The facilities were all we needed and the balcony view sublime. Walking to restaurants was very easy, although Albarracin is very 'up and down' - a great location and a lovely hotel.
Nicely located in the old village of Albarracin, a proposed world herritage site by UNESCO. The hotel offers rooms with balconies with a great view of the surrounding scenary and the village. Make sure to get a room with a balcony! The room was clean and the service very good. However, the accomodation does not have a lounge or any other place to hang out indoors. Since the rooms are small, with uncomfortable chairs, and a very small table, you are forced out into the narrow streets of Albarracin more often than you may like, even for this mythical place. Moreover, although the coffee is good, the breakfast is very limited, with a muffin wrapped in plastic and a piece of baguette. Again you may find yourself wandering the streets of Albarracin for a proper alternative breakfast.
We wanted to see some nature away from Valencia and arrived at this beautiful area which reminded us a little of Sedona Arizona with its red rock. Alberrecin is surrounded by a dramatic wall and a river. There is plenty to do and see there for two three days. The hostel we stayed at is simple but very clean and has a great view of the town and landscape. Because it was off season the reassurance was closed and served only a simple breakfast for 3€.
Had read about this property in a book Special Places to Stay in Spain. It is indeed a little gem. Good parking, superb location, wonderful views from most of the bedrooms and clean and comfortable all at a very reasonable price. Our one night stay 10 June was 40€ room only. Breakfast was served in the adjoining Los Palacios restaurant and cost 3€pp. Meals are only served during July & August however there are plenty of restaurants within minutes walk from the hostal.
