We rode here on a motorbike. Arrived late and couldn't find it, but a local guided us up to it. The steep cobbled lanes are a near impossible ride (gave us a great story though). Park in the car park half way up and walk the rest. The hotel itself is small, beautiful and intimate. The room, and view, we're both stunning, the staff very friendly and we enjoyed a limited but tasty breakfast (we're veggie...). Absolutely hoping to find our way back here one day. Can't recommend it enough.

Lovely medieval village. Large but basic rooms with fabulous views over the village. Breakfast was good but no bar or restaurant. Recently refurbished. NOTE. This hotel is situated in the highest part of the village, quite difficult to find, without car access. Not for the unfit but for those that are able to climb the many step it is very good value.

We were welcomed into this 6 bedroom hotel by the owner who was justifiably proud of her accomodation. The traditional exterior gave way to a modern boutique style interior. We stayed in early March and the room was lovely and warm. The bedroom was not huge but beautifully furnished and , like the shower room, spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a comfy bed, great shower and lovely big towels. The view from our julliet balcony was stunning- right across the rooftops of this picture book village. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh croissants, pastries, toast, fresh fruit and steaming hot coffee. This hotel was difficult to find but well worth the effort! You have to park the car and walk to it through the maze of narrow village streets which can be quite steep, but I think this would be the same for nearly every hotel in the village. The hotel is adjacent to the smaller of the 2 churches next to the moorish walls. Take just a small bag of clothes with you. All the toiletries you need are provided. There is no restaurant but the owner showed us on a map where all the local bars and restaurants were and they were all within walking distance. I cannot reccomend this hotel highly enough. It was a real gem and such excellent value. The best hotel out of the 7 we stayed in during our holiday.

This is a lovely hotel and perfectly situated for exploring the wonderful old fortress walls. The hotel is new (2014) and everything is pristine and designed in the 'boutique' style. The shower, in particular, is excellent! Lovely breakfast in the morning and very friendly owners (although they fussed a bit about arrival time). Here's the downside: there's no vehicular access to the hotel so entirely unsuitable for anyone with difficulties walking. It's also very hard to find and the owners don't speak English, so you need to know exactly where to go (my advice is head up the narrow streets to the foot of the wall). Apparently, you can park for 30 minutes in the main square and drop off your luggage but it's still a schlep up steep streets and good luck finding the square in the first place. That aside, a lovely find and very reasonably priced. We ranked this hotel third of the eight hotels we stayed in during our holiday this year and would've ranked higher if we'd been able to find it and hadn't had to select essentials from the suitcase to avoid lugging everything up the steep hills.

The hotel is new and it shows! It has been converted from an old house right in the centre of the old town, on the way to the city walls. The room was very well appointed and the whole place spotlessly clean. Access is a problem - we recommend arriving with minimum luggage because of the steep steps tp get here. The owner helped us in and showed us where to park safely and for free. The breakfast was copious and fresh Spanish style. Wifi was excellent and the bathroom was stunning
