My mum and I had a little weekend trip to this hotel and it was absolutely beautiful.
We loved the spa - the thermal baths were such a special touch as they were something different.
Our room was lovely, it had plenty of space, a nice bathroom and the area outside our room was a nice touch. The only thing that I found a little bit frustrating was that I was sitting outside reading my book and the man next door was smoking outside and as a non-smoker it was really bothering me. Therefore, they should probably check to see if the guests are smokers or not and put those who are in a certain area.
The breakfast was amazing - as I am gluten and dairy free sometimes I really struggle at breakfast but I had so many options available. I just felt like this. hotel were really prepared for those with allergies/intolerances.
One thing I would say is that the hotel is right next to a road and when you are at the restaurant you can hear cars whooshing past...but that really is a tiny thing. It wasn't busy when we were eating outside, so I can imagine if there were more people you wouldn't be able to hear a thing.
Overall, beautiful hotel and I would definitely go back!

A beautiful location with big rooms. As a guest you feel very special.

Very helpful staff who cannot do enough to be helpful and make you feel welcome.

Restaurant was FANTASTIC. Food delicious with lots of choice and stunning flavours.
Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Lots of choice on and off menu.
Definitely order cocktails from bar.

The spa is a must. One of the best massages ever and the thermal waters softened skin and removed aches and pains.

Very comfortable sun beds with two good sized pools to choose from.

A few bits of attention to detail and the stay would have been faultless.
Wi fi connection dropped in the room we were in. Ended up downloading and working in conference room which was fine.
Bed not very comfortable but staff tried to help resolve. A simple mattress topper and bigger pillows would help going forwards.
The room we were in was dark which was a real shame considering the natural light and beauty of the location.
Air conditioning was noisy in bedroom but not in whole location.

Book direct with hotel. They were very responsive and so so helpful before and during our stay.

Locally we loved market in Santanyi and salt place next to hotel. Visit to beach is a must for beauty and warm stunning sea.

My husband and I are from the US and wanted to find a getaway in Mallorca that was out of the city center but close enough to small towns for some nice dinners and beaches. we wanted a relaxing hotel and let me tell you this is the place. it was absolutely perfect. we stayed 8 days in total. A gorgeous property with impeccable service. we enjoyed the room with the patio tremendously. the breakfasts are worth every penny, you have everything you'd want for breakfast and if not the staff will try to find it for you otherwise. the Beach they have access to is phenomenal - Es Trenc. its about a few hundreds yards into the ocean of a sandbar with perfectly clear turquoise water. We went to this beach 3 times and loved each day. The other beaches we visited on the island didn't compare at all. It was too hot to hike to coves sadly and the rest of the beaches accessible by car were too busy or kind of dirty (lots of seaweed). The staff was all wonderful, particularly Esperanza in the front, and Mika at breakfast. they were very sweet and answered all of our questions. the yoga teacher i had was good to, it was nice that you could book yoga for a small fee. The gym was nice as well. I didn't use the thermal baths but my husband really enjoyed them and the spa is absolutely beautiful!! We can't wait to go back. Perfect getaway to recharge. you just definitely need a car if you stay here so keep that in mind!

If we lived in Europe would definitely go again. The grounds are vast and well kept, the two outdoor pools large enough to do laps. The thermal spring amenity is a great experience and the set up expansive. There is a gym, thermal indoor pool and separate individual thermal baths. There is also a sauna. Steam room, gym ice room and eucalyptus shower. We had a suite that overlooked the salt marches and included breakfast. The view was extremely peaceful, the room included a bath and show AND face washers (the first I have seen in my 10days on the islands). The pool chairs and outdoor seating is some of the most comfortable I have sat on. For us almost everything about the resort was good. The only thing we found challenging was finding their ‘beach house’ at Le refuge - that was a huge disappointment for our visit to Le trenc beach (which whilst beautiful) is not in the same league as the beaches we experienced in Menorca.

Room Tip: We had a suite(room 53) and loved it. Some rooms are less private . Don’t go to ‘their’ beach.

We have been to Fontsanta twice before and it is still a great place! Fantastic service, lots of space (an extra bonus in these covid times), several pools, huge, comfortable sunbeds, peaceful garden, and friendly staff. Rooms are also spacious and clean, with good airconditioning. Breakfast is varied and lunch options are many!

If I should make a couple of critical comments it would be the dinner menu.
One night we had a 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing for 100 € p/p. This was a really great choice, and we enjoyed the whole meal. But the rest of the a la carte menu was more restricted. The choices are gourmet type, and the portions are sometimes ridiculously small. (and not very cheap). I think you could add a couple of more choices (like you do for lunch) for people who stay longer. We stayed 5 nights and I would not mind a burger or a pizza one or two nights. Especially considering this place is quite remote and a bit far from any village or town.

I should also mention the bikes. Great bonus, since the beach is approx. 3 km away. But they should be in a much better shape! They’re really not up to the standard of this hotel. Flat tires on some, chains not oiled, gear not working, impossible to adjust seat height etc. Someone should have a go at these!

If you just want a calm and quiet place to relax before heading out into the island to explore this is the place for you. Have a spa day relax at one of the pools or enjoy the nearby beach at the hotel-owned cabin.

There are only a few Rooms available so there will never be too many guests around to disturb your calm. Prices are very fair for what is provided on site.

We had a wonderful relaxing getaway at Fonsanta. The grounds are very peaceful. The spa is a highlight of the property, especially for a soak in the thermal baths. The two outdoor pools offer nice lounge beds for two adults to easily enjoy and there seemed to be plenty of space for all guests at all times. The rooms are clean and minimalist (but you won't need / want to spend much time in the rooms anyway because you should be at the pool, beach, or spa). We particularly enjoyed the transfer to the Es Trenc beach that that hotel offers ... it's a bumpy ride on private roads and short walk to the beach but once you're there the water is gorgeous blue and we found the beach was not too crowded, even on the weekend. The staff was very friendly as well during meal service — we thought the half board was a good value (the menu selection isn't huge and honestly it should be ... it was totally fine for four nights stay). Overall would very much recommend for an extended weekend to recharge!

It is my 3rd visit and it has gone downhill somewhat.
• Swimming pools aren't serviced (cleaned at night of wet towels, glasses etc, new towels in the morning, broken fridge, dead cockroaches removed)
• Less staff and far more newbies...so you aren't made to feel remotely special
• My mate was given a smaller room next to mine ?!? and not given the last night fizz & chocolate strawberries ?!?!
• Mates' room (7) right by reception so woken by the banging and crashing of the staff arriving at 6am
• Suddenly, it is on a MAJOR road and you can here the constant drone of the traffic whilst trying to relax by the pool
• They have missed a HUGE opportunity to get residents to use the spa by hiding away the details on an iPad. Two ladies with more money than sense weren't even contacted or given any temptations to use/book
• Manager knew we were disappointed with our stay and avoided a chat at breakfast and then continued to avoid us at check out. Leaving us to resort to put a review here
• Sister hotel in Palma were beyond fabulous - helping store our suitcases and change before flying home.

The location is beautiful, right next to the salt plains and surrounded by lovely gardens. The rooms are big, nice simple design, with a small terrace and L'Occitane amenities.
The thermal spa is wonderful! Steam rooms & Turkish bath, sauna, water beds, relaxation area, pool, jacuzzi plus individual baths where the thermal spring water comes out at 39°!
The staff are lovely, professional and attentive, the dinner service was excellent. The food very good, both dinner & breakfast in a nice big room. There was a log fire on at dinner which gave a nice atmosphere.
The outdoor pools would be super in summer, but there are small jacuzzis scattered around the gardens which was an amazing experience at night, to lay back & look at the stars!
All in all a great stay and highly recommend!

Dear Guest, We thank you for your interest in our thermal Spa and Wellness hotel, Fontsanta. In reference to your concern, we would like to share with you that we have several buildings in our resort; therefore, the most of the rooms are quite far away from the mentioned road. The ambience is quite relaxing in general, with the Fontaine in the gardens and a water wall by the restaurant. We would be more than happy to accommodate you in a room that suits your preferences. We kindly ask you to email us with the details of your booking, and we will be delighted to take note. Thanks again for your trust. We look forward to welcoming you, and we stay at your disposal for any further information you may require . Kind regards Fontsanta Team

No, it's pretty much on its own. You need a car or use taxi to get to other restaurants or shops. Don't be put off though, taxis are cheap and convenient.
