This is a dorm, that works as a hotel too during August. Thus, do not expect luxury. But it worked fine for me to visit the university during August (although returning uphill from the office was an interesting challenge). And the price is quite good. They offer a free shuttle service to downtown several times per day. Thereā€™s a gym but with limited (and somewhat strange) opening hours. And a cafeteria offering ā€œuniversity mealsā€, thus affordable and decent. Rooms are not equipped to avoid noise from the neighbors. Staff is friendly.

Good accommodation, helpful staff, free bus into A Coruna several times a day and cheap and good food in Restaurant. Ample car parking. Lots of interesting places to visit in Galicia and very useful information from tourist offices in A Coruna as well as well located bus and train stations.

Very cheap two stars hotel, with comfortable rooms.
Simple services done with good performance.
Gym and swimming pool quite good, nice environment and very friendly staff,
Far away from the downtown, but fast to reach by taxi or by the free BUS.
Restaurant and Cafeteria too simple, not good in range.

Attractive presentation but nothing is there, apart from the kindness of the hostesses. Transformed university town, breakfast and evening meals not good, not even worthy of a canteen. Exorbitant price for the service (108.38 euros). To avoid

The place is very simple. Clean. University dormitory. Cheap. Shuttle 4 X day.
The reception is catastrophic. Unsympathetic staff at will, except the cleaners. Not being Welsh, I was struck by the coldness of the premises, even the lack of respect towards foreigners. We don't feel welcome or accepted. Even speaking Spanish. Very unpleasant experience. Better come in a group.

THIS IS A DORMITORY, NOT a hotel at all. It shouldnā€™t be called hotel and it should NOT cost 120EURO per night for 3 beds room! On Tripadvisor it is promoted as "from 50Euro", but in reality, if you are not booking it well in advance it is twice+ more which should cost this money for what it is.

ā€¢ Difficult to find (even with GPS)

ā€¢ There is a kitchenette in the room and administration doesnā€™t care that stinky oily smell stays in the room from previous use. I understand that probably not all rooms are smelly and awful, but this has to be checked by staff. Durty/smelly rooms mustn't be used as "hotel"

We arrived late in the evening, reception is far away (in a different building about 400m away) and didnā€™t have any time or strength to go all the way back to reception to change the room.

We opened the window, but it didnā€™t help much and we were bitten by mosquitos for the rest of the night for the luxury of fresh air.

ā€¢ Walls are made of paper so you can hear everything your neighbours are doing

ā€¢ Beds are very basic and squeaky

ā€¢ Thanks to previous reviews we even didnā€™t bother to go for breakfast

ā€¢ Staff are nice, but this is their job, to be honest.

Summary:
- If you are above 23 ā€“ 25 years old donā€™t go there if you can avoid
- If you really want/need to stay there, book well in advance to get good price.
- If you didn't get good price, go for different hotel (+20-30Euro and you can get much better quality for your money elsewhere)
- If you go there, be prepared that this is just a dormitory with noisy students and very thin walls
- Booking.com should really check from time to time what hotels are actually offering at extortionate price
- If you managed to find the deal for this hotel for 30-50USD, then the ratio price/quality will be much more realistic then we paid and you might even enjoy this place. We didn't.

This is actually student accomodation and not to be frank, of a very high standard. It is cheap and clean and the staff are nice, but the rooms themselves are very basic, although they do include, refrigerator, cooker and sink. The cafeteria is awful but the bar is cheap. There is a gym and pool which I didn't have time to use. Miles from anywhere, you must be able to do better than this in this day and age.
