1. Choose wisely the route and don't trust Waze. Road is in very bad conditions. 2. Breakfast hummm... it's included, but toast and coffee it's not a very good one, food in overall it's overpriced and does not include taxes, which is not legal in CR so be careful!!

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel. We are very surprised that you find our restaurant overpriced since you and your family did not eat here during your stay. In order to give you a better perspective, we would like to offer you and your family a free dinner so you can judge if the...

We wanted to see the turtles on the beach at night so we found the hotel just beside playa san miguel and it was a great surprise. The hotel was very nice with a lovely staff. The food was delicious and the whole experience wasn't pricy at all for the quality of the service. We took the kayaking in the...

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem. it is only accessible by a dirt road. My wife and I took a bus, but almost every other guest had rented a vehicle. Very tranquil for those looking to get away from it all. The service is the best I have ever experienced. I called the office to let them know we...

This Hotel is the Perfect Adventure Get-away Hide-away! It's amazing to see the completely Modern structure out in the middle of the Jungle. Andreas is the live-in Hotel Manager, and he's super friendly and a local guy- so is very helpful with the area, and the best way to get from pointe A-B. Chef Pablo was very welcoming, and the...

The Hotel Laguna Mar is like heaven on Earth. My husband and I stayed there in mid-December. We were absolutely amazed by the property and staff. We have vacationed all over Costa Rica and this is, by far, our favorite spot. The rooms were very clean and the property was immaculate. Paulo, the chef, went to great lengths to prepare...

I was eating pizza at the Pizza Tree and asked one of the owners what the building above the eatery was. He told me it was the five star hotel. I was staying at a hotel down the street with little hot water, no wifi or TVs and limited AC. I decided to take a trip up the hill. The...

We spent 3 nights here in April and we were very impressed. The rooms were small but well appointed and comfortable. The food was excellent. The staff were tremendous, with Andreas (hope I spelt it right!) being a real star! He was extremely helpful and knowledgable and we really appreciated the time and effort he took to help us. The...

Based on value for the money I would rate it five stars. The service is awesome, the food makes you want to stay there for ever and the beaches superb. Location is great if you are looking for a quiet and full of nature place (which I do!). We had the opportunity to see so many different animals, including stingrays...
