We stopped here for lunch on arriving in the Colca Valley and were taken down to the restaurant. Beautiful views out across the valley and a typical Andean meal; you were provided with all of the ingredients for a causa, mashed portato with lemon, fish and diced veg, and then shown how to make it. This was followed by some delicious barbecued alpaca. A great way to start this part of our trip!

Our Family stayed one night via a tour company. Low season and we were the only guests. Hotel itself is great (rooms / blankets/ view). However as we were only guests the hotel may as well have been closed! No fire when requested (very cold in main area) - dinner menu was very poor and written on scrap paper (photo attached) - we ordered Lomo Saltado and meat was way over cooked and tough. Inedible. Hotel refused to acknowledge. They wanted to charge for milk to add to coffee. Terribly disappointing - if they don’t want guests in low season then don’t open!

I stayed here with a tour group for just one night in September 2008. Coporaque was real small-town Peru but this place was comfortable (if simple), traditional and served local-style meals for the full experience as well as more familiar fare for the less adventurous. Make sure you visit the hot springs.

We stayed one night at this hotel in the Colca Valley. We had the lunch buffet, dinner and breakfast and all the food was very good. The location of the hotel and views were amazing! We really enjoyed being in this quiet location after staying so many days in Lima, Cusco, and Puno. The resident alpaca was also nice to have around! I loved watching the sunset and and the sunrise from this location! Would definitely stay here again!!

Friendly staff. Location of rooms excellent. Gorgeous setting. Lovely walk to hot springs pool. Incredible lunch with local food and many spices. Wonderful breakfast buffet with Peruvian and traditional choices. View from dining area is spectacular. Pet llama adorable. Of the many places we stayed, this is my favorite!
