We drove to Colcha Canyon by ourselves by car. Found this hotel after a long search (the one we originally reserved was horrible with rainwater on the floor everywhere). This hotel has a very nice touch to it, you can see a good architect dedicated himself to make it all look very sweet. Food at the on-site restaurant is very...

Truly an amazing location in the Colca Valley. Our room was very comfortable and easily fit the 5 of us with a bed on the first level and an additional 3 on a loft. Very picturesque as it is surrounded by mountains, and a snow capped mountain in the back. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always making...

We did a customized 4 night package from Arequipa which included a bus tour from Arequipa which made about 4 stops along the way toward the lodge and a tour to Cruz del Condor the next day. Killawasi Lodge is an amazing place to stay - we were in room 4 which had a private patio overlooking the mountains. There...

My husband and i stayed for one night in Killawasi lodge and wish we could have stayed more! The place is great, the rooms amazing with excellent view (ask for the ones that look at the mountains!) and a nice restaurant. Breakfast is also very good. On top, the staff is exquisite, very polite and ready to help with anything...

Sorry for taking so long to review - April 2014 We stayed here for two nights when visiting Colca Canyon en route from Arequipa to Puno. We stayed in one of the larger rooms at the front with its own terrace and the view was very beautiful - worth paying that bit extra for one of these rooms. We did...

This boutique hotel is a nice gem on our trip. It provide excellent service and food. The information the owner provided allowed us to visit the ruins and the owner's dog acted as a guide so that we did not get lost in our wandering. A place to stay

I stayed here for one night as a treat on what was otherwise a cheap backpacking trip. It was part of one of the hotel's organised colca canyon tours from Puno to Arequipa. The tour was very well run, on time and the guides were informative. The room was huge with constant hot water which was great. I did their...

We stayed here for 2 nights not long after the August earthquake. The rooms were great - extremely clean and comfortable, and the location was very peaceful - with a scenic view across the valley from our room. The most memorable aspect for us though was a staff member - Freddy - who was utterly charming and friendly. He went...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three days. We wanted to relax, as this was the last leg of our trip to Peru. We did the trek to the Uyu Uyu ruins hosted by the lodge, which was a bit strenuous and nice. We walked to the Hot springs nearby. It was a nice walk, a bit strenuous on...

Killawasi is a tranquil haven on the edge of the earthquake-damaged town of Yanque, the gateway to the Colca canyon. There are separate blocks of two-storey and single-storey accommodation - the latter look out onto an open fields towards the gorge and mountains beyond. There is a simple separated eating area with a good local menu. The staff were very...
