I was in touch with the owner of the hotel and reserved a room a month in advance. We had several exchanges since I also tried to book a room in the Oasis. 5 emails and 2 confirmations that everything was booked, and still when we arrived there was no place to go since all the rooms were already taken. The owner was not there and the staff at the hotel did not speak English. I talked to the owner on the phone and her English was also minimal. This place is not recommended. Neither is staying in Chivay, it's expensive to get here by taxi and we had a hard time finding a taxi that would take us to Yanque altogether...
