Have you ever waited to write a review because you're afraid you won't get it right? That you won't do the place justice? That you can't put it into words? Have you ever started typing and been flooded with memories that render lost in thought? We stayed at the Nissiotiko in early September 2019, for four nights that we extended to five. From our first emails with Fragiskos to the warm goodbye he bid us as we and our three-year-old headed off to catch the ferry to Sifnos, every moment here was a pleasure. We're planning on coming back next year, and hopefully bringing friends and family with us. From early a.m. brisk swimming before a perfect breakfast of fresh yogurt and fruits and eggs and vegetables produced on the island or nearby, to leisurely afternoons reading on the terrace by the sea or in our immaculate rooms, to the warm conversations with other guests - so many of whom have been coming for decades to the same place - to middays under the pine trees on the small, perfect beach, to walks along the coast and to the excellent Taverna Julia next door (owned and run by Fragiskos's incredible cousin), this place tended to our frayed nerves and tired bodies, rejuvenating us. Thank you for every moment!

This charming little Hotel/Apartments by the seaside in Drios is a perfect escape from the busy ports if you are looking to just chill by the beach. The rooms are clean & pretty basic but that's all you need when you spend most of your day lazing by the beach or dining at one of the local taverns along the waters edge. Being a family owned Hotel the hospitality is warm, relaxed and welcoming, making us feel like long lost relatives. Breakfast is served in their gorgeous garden terrace overlooking Drios bay which was a morning highlight. The only negative was breakfast was continental with not much variety each day. It would have been nice to have something a local signature breakfast dish each day. We spent a few days on Golden Beach, one of the best beaches in Paros just a picturesque 15 min stroll along the waters edge from the hotel where the beach is organised and you can order a coffee/drink from your beach chair or eat at the Golden Beach Hotel Tavern which was one of he most memorable dining experiences we had in Greece. If you don't care to drive there is a Bus service during the Summer months that leaves from the main port & takes approx. 30 min to Naoussa & Parikia. You will also find other handy shops like a supermarket, restaurant, chemist and cafe. Thank you Ioannis, Francesco & Family for your gorgeous hospitality. it was a pure delight and absolutely loved our experience.

This is the second time we've stayed at Nissiotiko. The first in their self catered apartments, this time in the hotel. We absolutely love it here and will be back again next year. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. We had a sea view double with balcony which meant waking up to the Aegean views every morning. The hotel breakfast is simple but all you need - boiled eggs, wonderful Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit and home made jams. The best thing about this hotel is the staff - the family team there are wonderful - friendly and helpful. Add to this the strip of beach and the lovely garden to sit in and sunbathe and you've got a winning formula.
