We booked the cooking course at Anezina Village. We can honestly say that this was the best activity of our holiday! We had so much fun and the food was delicious. The host and owner Maria is super nice and we were able to chat a lot with her! The whole staff was great! We end up staying the night there and enjoyed it a lot! Such a nice cosy family-vibe place! Would love to come back! As we came in the pandemic period, we were the only people that did the cooking class. So that was a big advantage! So if you are in Paros around this time, go to Anezina village!

We stayed in Anezina village for one week at the beginning of August. It was very comfortable, the rooms clean and spacious, the breakfast very good with home made jam, the restaurant served delicious cooked plates, the pool area very relaxing! Congratulations to the host and all the staff for the high level of hospitality we received, especially to the lady on the breakfast filtering the kids orange juices. On top, all covid measures were strictly followed. You will need a car to explore the island, though. We strongly recommend this hotel!

We “found this” location serendipitously via RCI - an end of season “catch.” Air fares cooperated and we found ourselves (along with a second globe trotting couple) on our way to a last minute trip to Greece. The 30 minute plane hop from Athens gets you to Paros and a 25 Euro cab ride delivers you to the village. It’s a bit dated (as other reviews have suggested) and the beds are hard! But it’s clean and very well maintained. Our initially assigned apartment had no ocean view, but as there were few other guests, we were easily and reasonably upgraded to a “sea-side” accommodation. The restaurant, preparing to close for the season, had a diminishing menu. Ok, so why the excellent rating? Because we had a fanatic week there; and enjoyed a wonderful place with very friendly people. We took the organized tours around the islands, we rode the local bus to local villages and restaurants, we rented a car and rode the ferry! We drank wine by the pitcher! We danced at the village’s “Greek Night!” We attended Maria’s cooking class (which my wife replicated at home!) We became “regulars” at the local store and visited ancient churches! We sat on “our deck” on six lovely mornings and drank coffee as the warming sun rose over the Aegean. Even the one rain day - as it involved a huge passing storm with lightening - was an island experience! All of which left us feeling “we’d truly” been to Greece! Thank you Maria and our dear friend Stamos! Next time we’ll bring the grandchildren!

The accomodations were very clean though rudimentary, old and outdated. The beds were hard as a rock, with little to no padding. I could feel every coil! Comfort was not a feature! Only 1 small upholstered chair and 2 rock hard daybeds in the LR. Small wall-mounted TV received only occasional English programming +picture kept digitizing. Internet connection was spotty on some days. I am at a loss as to why we had to pay additional fees for such accomodations, particularly at the end of the season when local beach/water activities were discontinued for the winter. The 3 exterior Dutch type doors had primitive locking mechanisms; sliding wooden slats and small brass slide locks where one came unlocked after a windy day. Main entrance also had old key lock. Only stayed 3/7 nights before moving to nearby hotel located directly on waterfront which provided comfortable beds, upscale bed linens, contemporary bathroom w/rainfall showerhead, bath robes, wonderful made-to-order FREE breakfast delivered to our veranda. RVC certificate provided absolutely NO savings considering the original RVC fee, +Anezina’s additional $343 /week, +60€ utility fee. Would have been cheaper to book entire week at alternate hotel and/or had more flexibility island hopping.
