The hotel itself is nice & clean, but it does seem to deal with many noisy, large groups. Reception's English wasn't the best but it was enough to get by. It seemed that Japan in general didn't have the best English, so that should be an expectation when in the country. We stayed here for 3 nights and found it...

The location of this hotel was very good: 3-4 min to Tokyo Metro iidabashi station by walk, 6-7 min - to JR train by walk. The staff was very helpful, generally Japanese people are very friendly and helpful :) Thanks to staff in reception we got a room at 12-th floor with a lovely view to Tokyo Chiyoda region. If...

First impression: I had booked a room for three people (two adults and one child), with breakfast. At check-in, I am given two vouchers for breakfast (one per person). When I asked for the third voucher, I am told that children do not get one, they need to pay apart if they want to get breakfast. After complaining and explaining...

The hotel has the ambience of a grand hotel with an imposing lobby. I booked their budget room (renovated) which offered obviously limited space but had a great view. The room was also very tidy, clean, modern and well-equipped. Very convenient location depending on what of town you want to be in. Very convenient bed (firm). IIdabashi is just a...

Family Friendly Hotel, Free Shuttle to Disney, Big Hotel. It is close to 2 metro stations, closest one is Iidabashi but it's still a 15 minute walk away. Staff is very friendly and helpful but their english is very limited so it's difficult to understand each other if you have a major issue. Rooms were small but clean. Our room...

The service level from the staff here is superb, we had a number questions before arriving in Tokyo and they responded via email very efficiently. Upon check-in they remember our requests and made sure everything we need is taken care of. We stayed two nights in the renovated Deluxe semi-double room and it was clean, modern, and very comfortable, not...

This hotel located near Tokyo city center, room averages Japanese size (rather small), bathroom rather big, staff commonly friendly as Japanese do, breakfast was super, they had most kind of fish, raw and smoked, salad, curry, various bread, etc.most culinary adventurous people would appreciate it. Would come back for sure.

...it's cold and breakfast arrangements are bad. Hotel is on excellent location, it's walking distance to Iidabashi station, Tokyo Dome and Budokan. Streets around are very quiet at night. There is can be some train noise, but not disturbing. My room was quite small, but with a good big bed and bathroom was fine too. Everything was in good condition...

It's my fourth time to stay in this hotel. Though I stay there purely because my friend works near the area and is very convenient for him to go to, I would still recommend this hotel. The hotel is very clean, there's no musty smell when you enter the room, the bed sheets are crisp and smell nice, bathroom is...

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
