as a gold member, I am automatically upgraded to deluxe room, which is very spacious considering Tokyo is an expensive city. It has complete amenities with a good bedding quality. In overall, I enjoyed my stay here, it has a very good location, direct access to Japan Metro station, very close to Ginza shopping strip, easy to find good coffee...

What a great hotel. Nothing was too much for them. They were very helpful, gave great advise on travel tips. Hotel rooms are a great size and loved the hotel amenities.. The rooms were very clean and we loved the toilet.. Best location in Ginza, close to the stations and so safe. Try the restaurants under the train tracks that...

The room is normal with basic itens to have a good stay. The localization is fantastic. It has a Metro entrance/exit in the underground of the building and a couple of meter of the Ginza's main street. The price is a little high but at the end it is a good choice to stay in Tokyo.

Dear smimoto1965, A warm thank you towards you from the Mercure Hotel Tokyo Ginza. Our location near Ginza Dori, the Metro Station in the building and the possibility of nice restaurants or Coffee Shops around is the best basic for a nice start in the day, for whatever you came to Tokyo - business trip or leisure. Conveniently located. Easy access to major train lines (as well as direct line from Haneda and Narita) all within 10 mins walking - Line beside the hotel was useless to places I wanted to go though. Many choices of restaurants, cafes and shops to suit different budgets and tastes all in a few mins of walking or round the corner....

Dear Justcallmers, Warm greetings from the Mercure Hotel Tokyo Ginza. We are grateful for your comment about your stay and our location in Tokyo. Ginza is famous but less crowed then other areas like Shinjuku or Harajuku. Sometimes you can't move proper there and you are forced to go where everyone is heading. The location near the Ginza Dori is...

The hotel is in a great location, easy access to metro and subway and surrounded by restaurants and café. There are more rooms for improvement for staff, especially Europeans at reception need to put some smiles like locals.

Accor Plat Dec 16 Stay Stayed 2 nights. Two reasons - location and my Accor Membership. Price for my stay was within my budget. (Was going to stay again in March 17 but the rate was over USD$400 as hotel was 99.9% full) Quiet back street Ginza location with "in-building" subway access. The line that I needed was only a...

Dear AlphaVictor2, We are thanking you for your honest comment. Ginza Dori as the famous shopping street nearby and the quite area we have in Ginza is the best after a long day in Tokyo. The easy access to Higashi-Ginza Station and the Ginza Station itself is a really short but nice walk, sometimes you won't go in the underground...

Excellent location, easily accessible with a small walk. The hotel is not easy to be fond as the entrance is in a small road and signs can be unseen. Rooms are bigger than the normal standard in Japan and enough for all you need to do in a room. Space is enough to open 2 bags leaving a slight space...

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
