We stayed in July. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We had a suite on the club level. The Club food/beverage service is fantastic! The room was quite nice with great amenities. The hotel looks like it hasn't been renovated since 1992.

There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

WE flew to Narita, but check out the bullet trains- cheaper than taxi, and fast- I am forgetting name of local station, but it is a 10 min walk to/from the Westin- think it is Ebisu- you take the train to ebisu ( Westin website will confirm) , or to a main station first and transfer to Ebisu- ( all the trains are marked in English and Japanese)-- find the moving sidewalk that goes to an open shopping mall, literally between the multi level train station and the hotel- most of the folks around the train station DIDN"T speak english, and we found a young japanese woman to get a taxi for us, to take us the 4 minute ride to the hotel- the next 10 times we went back and forth- we walked!! Enjoy- the hotel staff speaks English well for 90% of them- breakfast buffet excellent, and much cheaper if you buy as part of your hotel package- also in english and japanese-
