Despite this hotel's high reviews, I thought I might be missing out on a more authentic ryokan experience, so I booked another hotel for part of my stay in Tokyo. The other place was wonderful, but I liked this one more. First, location was much better. Subways in Tokyo are easy to take (especially if you have access to google... More

Japan exceeded all my expectations - the cultural hotspots, the food, the people, the whole experience is just amazing I wish I had planned my trip earlier and stayed longer. This hotel might not be the best money could have bought but it was decent enough for my travelling buddy and I who were out most of the day anyway.... More

This hotel I couldn't have picked a better place to be based Location to Tamachi Train Station is awesome as it's only 10 or so minutes and you are in the heart of Tokyo and all the famous places like Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and Tokyo Central. And in the opposite direction the first stop is Shinagawa Station which is where... More

Nice clean and Trankil accommodation. Short walk from the station helpful staff and plenty off food and drink options near by. Staff has been nice the room was spacious e of. No view though. But good for a nights rest. Differently recommend this hotel for a short stay.

If you can get this hotel at a discounted price compared to other options, it's a good bet. The room was marginally smaller (not sure how that's possible) from the other hotel we stayed at in Shinjuku, but if you can save a good chunk of money on rates, the location isn't that bad that you'll regret it. It's a... More

This hotel is in a nice residential area, very close to a subway station on the main line. The location makes it ideal to see all of the sites in Tokyo without having trouble sleeping at night because of city noise and all of the bright lights. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The rooms are small by... More

Stayed at the Gracery Tamachi on a business trip in December 2015 for 10 nights. I chose the hotel due to its location (close to the office) and because it was recommended by my colleagues in the office. The hotel itself is a five minute walk from Tamachi station which is on the JR and metro lines and only 10... More

I stayed here for 5 nights in early April. Although the hotel sits right next to the monorail line, the room is very quiet with excellent sound-proofing. The queen sized bed is comfortable and there is enough space to put my luggage without tripping over them. More importantly, there is none of the cigarette smoke smell in my room which... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
