This is IMHO one of the best business hotels in Tokyo for a number of reasons: - English speaking staff. Even housekeeping speaks decent English, front desk is perfect, in some other business hotels even people at the front desk struggle - Perfect location. Walking distance to Asakasaka-mitsuke or Roppongi yet without all the crowd. Walking distance (well, a longer...

I had been stationed in Tokyo for 11 years previously and indeed stayed in the Roppongi area. The funny thing is I had never been into this hotel other than to take the airport limo bus to Narita at the front entrance. As a family we decided to try this Intercon in comparison with others that we had stayed. The...

For first timers like myself in Japan it was good to know that this hotel is located near the Ginza line station. Now in order to see and go to the main attractions this is very useful as you can use the subway to go to all attractions. The hotel is not new, and the rooms are quite small compared...

Stayed here one night in March. Great location. Concierge was very helpful in getting me reservations at a steakhouse that serve waygu beef (even recommending I take a picture on my phone of the restaurant website with its logo since there were no signs in English). Room was clean, with a great view. The place is not cheap, but if...

Having stayed in Tokyo a few times before, this hotel is very good compared to some of its competition. Room spacious enough , bed comfy, bar pleasant enough (but really pricey!). Down sides are number one: pool fee. A guest at a hotel of that stature should not be charged a fee to use the house pool - that is...

Convenient rooms for Tokyo standards, however only couple of Japanese tv channels and thats it regarding the tv (not even CNN). Pricey hotel and quality is not up to price level. The hotel even dares to charge USD 30 per person per visit to the swimming pool. Outrageous for a hotel where you pay over USD 300 per night and...

I was very happy with our choice of hotel for our four nights in Tokyo. The ANA is classy and modern but with Japanese elements in the corridors and rooms. Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
