This relatively new hotel is located across the harbor from downtown Tokyo, across the Rainbow Bridge, but connected by subway (station across street from hotel entrance). Hotel is huge, with many tour groups and other groups - but many fast elevators mean almost no delays. Nice restaurant on 30th floor crowded for buffet breakfast so we were directed to an...

Located in Le Daiba, this hotel is close to shopping centre, above subway station and not far from Tokyo city center. Free shuttle bus is provided from most hotels in this area to shopping centre. Great rates and room size. The breakfast lounge at the top floor has amazing view.

I was travelling with 2 kids. The room is huge. The biggest room I ve ever stayed in Japan hotel I think. We got a special rate booking via jalan.net . We stayed here for 2 nights. We booked a twin room as we were travelling with 2 kids so that we can share the beds. However a rollover was...

I liked the location of the hotel as it had easy access to Daiba station, which gets you faster to your destination. The service was above average, we always had hot water waiting for us after cleaning up the room. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, too. Room was clean and had enough space for 2 adults, 1...

We just got back from Japan, and this was our base for 6 nights. Our main criteria for our hotel for this trip, was: 1. A hotel that was served by the Narita Airport Limousine bus service, as we had to catch a morning flight out of Narita. Transiting between train lines very early in the morning is not an...

My four kids and I started our ski trip at this hotel for two nights before heading to Nagano. We arrived very late at Haneda and missed the train and shuttle to hotel. We managed to convince a taxi to take all 5 of us and our luggage to hotel. Cost about 60 USD which was steep but had no...

Not a hotel to write home and tell your friends about, but pretty comfortable and clean. 1000yen (10usd) for the gym is not much, but not sure why should have to pay for use whilst staying in hotel. Best feature: Breakfast buffet with view over Tokyo bay from 30th floor. Worst feature: No Wifi in room - for the height...

I stayed in early March for 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located. There is an airport limousine bus that goes to the hotel directly from Narita for about 2,700 yen. The hotel is right next to a metro station. It take about 20-30 minutes to Ginza. There are also 2-3 shopping malls within 10 minutes of walk with many...

The bar on 30th floor was empty at 5:30 pm. The attendant made a wry face when I wanted to enter. Then, claimed the seat next to the power outlet was reserved all evening. There was not a living soul around anywhere. Just would not let me charge my laptop in the Sky Road. It's the pits - the bar...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
