Not a bad hotel but not great. The room was very small, the two beds were almost touching. Very small bathroom with no counter space and barely enough space for one full size suitcase let alone all the luggage of two people. Staff was very helpful and friendly though.

We were placed at the annex area where you have to cross to the other building. I suggest they place a rooftop on where the guests will cross because of the heat/rain/snow. The amenities were great. They even had a pajama for you to wear. The bathroom was average in size. There was no English movie channels, just a couple...

We had a quadruple room on the 12th floor. The floor looked renovated, as did the room. The room itself easily accommodated 4 beds, 3 suitcases and enough space for 2 adults and 2 seven year olds not to feel like they were on top of each other. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom had a big...

This hotel was booked for me for a work trip and it is in a nice location, especially for my work. There are a lot of places to go and eat within a short walk and there are lots of metro stations close by. It is in a nice area as well. So it is in a decent location. The...

We stayed here for six days and used it as a base to explore the city. Being very close to Damion station was very handy. The room we had was in the old building so was ok, a bit dull and out of the way but pleasant enough. Small, but then all the hotel rooms in Tokyo are. The buffet...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for sharing your experience at Shiba Park Hotel. We are delighted to hear that you were satisfied with the location and you also enjoyed our service experience. We are one of the most classic hotels in Tokyo and this might gave you the impression that the hotel was old and dated. However, we maintain...

My room had a window that looked into another window, so we didn't open the curtains at all. I also found out that none of the hotel's rooms can see Tokyo Tower, what disappointment. However the Tower is only a 10-15min walk away - which is great on a clear sunny day or night. Great for photos. Shiba Park nearby...

We have spent 3 weeks travelling Japan. Located close to the centre with many restaurants nearby. The rooms here are small, but everything is there. the bathrooms are particularly small. English on 2 TV channels, BBC & CNN. No English movies. An extra 1 hour check out is Y1,000.

Dear ChrisHall1953, Thank you for your stay with us and comment here. We are sorry for inconvenience for the room, but we think the size is normal in Tokyo. How about our service? Did you enjoy your whole trip in Tokyo? Our new building Shiba Park Hotel 151 has been open since August 2016 and the rooms are more spacious...

We called this the "Rots Carlton"! We booked our hotel on Expedia and initially didn't get what we were "sold". The photos are of the new building and not the smoke filled stinky, dirty annex building. We finally got our family of 5 in the adjoining rooms for the price we were quoted, but it was not at all what...

I not stayed here for one night but it was a comfortable hotel with good facilities. The Tokyo Tower is a short walk away and Roppongi is easily walkable from the hotel too. The staff helped me with a couple of issues. Excellent :)

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
