The rooms are big and the quality is high. The bathroom is amazing and all services imaginable provided. It is a large hotel, so it features a certain level of service. Location is just off Shimbashi.

I had the chance to travel Tokyo for business recently and my company booked me in at the Dai-Ichi as it is extremely close to our Japanese offices. The hotel is well located within a few steps from Shimbashi station from where you can use the underground and the JR Yamanote Line. Being right in the middle of the Tokyo... More

Very unfriendly staff their one answer to every request was "NO" Unlikely to experience in Japan where even a passer by would try to stop and help you May be because we booked on booking .com and they find it unattractive in terms of room rates

Excellent staff! Excellent front desk staff that squeezed me for an extra night when all sites shown fully booked. Bell captain that is friendly and efficient! Rooms clean! Remains my favorite hotel in Tokyo! Thank you for continuous improvements and makes your guests feel like home.

Very nice hotel right in the center of the city. Rooms are clean, big, comfortable and have all the encroachments. Lobby so nice they had a wedding in it while I was there complete with a snow machine and a waterfall.. Really beautiful. Restaurants in the hotel are excellent and it is within walking distance to many others. Train station... More

Staff were mixed - some excellent some unfriendly (uncommon in Japan). The standout feature of the hotel is its excellent location, especially considering the price. Apart from that it is nothing special though. Don't expect 5 star luxury and you will be fine.

Just spent six nights here and it was great. Perfect location close to Hibiya and Ginza. Very friendly staff always willing to help. Good size rooms with all the amenities. Would recommend and will stay again.

On check after a 12 hour flight I was informed they only had smoking rooms available. Not pleasant at all for a non smoker. Room is small and decor needs updating. Check in staff were not helpful when I asked if any possibility of switching rooms during my stay. It seems like a very different experience to other reviews so... More

Nice, quiet room with helpful front desk staff. Would recommend this to anyone looking for comfort and quality only a stone's throw from public transport. Shopping is within walking distance for anyone itching to do some retail therapy.
