Great hotel within a complex with access to Metro (Namboku line), 7/11 and a wide variety of restaurants (Japanese and other asian cuisines) without having to go outside. Room size was fine with plenty of room to work comfortably and wired internet that was fast enough to allow for Skype video conferencing. Would have liked WiFi in room to allow...

I stayed at the Villa Fontaine because I had meetings in Roppongi and it was extremely convenient for these, as well as being not too near the rather infamous and noisy Roppongi cross-roads. It is what is known as a “business hotel”, which means that services are fairly basic. For example, only breakfast is served and there is no room...

Front Desk was helpful, rooms were good and clean, location of the hotel was good and is in front of the roppongi-itchome subway station so no probs to that and yeah made it easy to get around the city. Complimentary free breakfast down in the lobby is decent. Overall Not bad for a 3 star hotel

What I really need in a tiring business trip is comfortable bed to sleep. And I didn't get it from this hotel. The bed is very hard and pillow has something like beads in it. When I woke up in the morning, I expect nice hot shower to start my day. I did not get it either. The shower has...

Villa Fontaine was a good little hotel in the business dist of Tokyo. stayed in this hotel for about 5 days and the place was pretty good in terms of comfort. the neighborhood is pretty good and is close to Roppongi (about 2-3 mins). The good thing was we could find a lot of Indian restaurants in close vicinity. in...

My favorite hotel for overnight stays in Tokyo. Around JPY11,000 a night including a rudimentary breakfast. Parking is JPY2,000 a night. Early check in not possible. Rooms small. However, all Villa Fontaine hotels are centrally located, well appointed. Rooms are small but functional.

Just stayed for 5 nights here on business in Tokyo. I have previously stayed at both the ANA and the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi. Overall the hotel is in a great location in Izumi Gardens which is about a 2-3 minute walk into the heart of Roppongi. The lobby area also looks and feels good quality as you stroll in...

The Hotel Villa Fontaine is a quality business hotel in the heart of Roppongi, walking distance to the "action" and subway stations so you are right where you want to be. The service is efficient and professional. Rooms are reasonable sized (a nice surprise), clean and well appointed. One caveat is the breakfast which is minimal to the point of...

Hotel Villa Fontaine was recommended by a business colleague but we didn't really know what to expect upon arrival. In summary, we were very comfortable throughout our stay and very pleased with both the hotel as well as the Rappongi area. The hotel is a nice 4star with a touch of class and was exactly as we had hoped. The...

The hotel concept is "high grade" business hotel. But I think that it isn't "high grade" at all. Exactly the location is very good, the building design are ellegant, very clean atomosphere and there are business facilities. The room is quite ordinary as a business hotel in Japan. "Ordinary"! Nothing made me to feel it was "high grade". Not leisure...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
