I wanted to stay in Shibuya and so we picked this one to start our 8 day trip. It is very new and modern, and has a 24 hour 7-11 just outside on the second floor, discretely hidden but really convenient at 1AM when I couldn't sleep. Just the 7-11 had me in awe, the cleanliness, customer service. I could...

The location is great -- close to lots of restaurants, transportation and convenience stores. Customer service was VERY good. The decor was new and clean, but nothing elaborate. The room was big for Japanese standards with a very large bathroom. We could see Mt. Fuji from our room! Although everything was wonderful, it seems like this is more of a...

This is our second stay at the Cerulean Tower in Shibuya It is a really lovely hotel, well appointed, comfortable and well located. The staff are impeccable and nothing is too much trouble. I will hopefully be back for a third stay soon! The concierge recommended Teppanyaki Hakushu just near the hotel - i will write a separate review for...

We stayed 4 nights. The location was very good. The staff friendly, they spoke ok english. The consierge was nowhere to be found! Furniture needs an update. We tried to go to the rootop bar and it was always full. We had dinner in the japanese restaurant and food was BAD.

I really wanted to give this a 5, I did! The hotel is lovely, the service staff are very friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was outstanding and we were close to everything! The only problem was the attitude in the fitness centre! So many little rules that for a modern international hotel really doesn't stand up! Such...

Stayed in executive floor for 3 nights. Very comfortable and large room with fantastic views over Tokyo. Breakfast included was reasonable although a little limited in scale and scope. Service generally attentive and helpful. One black mark was additional cost of pool/gym with multiple pedantic rules applied fairly officiously by fitness club staff. A shame because pool was lovely after...

We stayed in a triple City view room for 5 nights. The room was spacious for Tokyo, and we especially loved the bathroom. The shower was amazing. The service was exceptional. The concierge helped us make restaurant reservations, gave us directions and rented our umbrellas daily. We had free wifi included in our room rate which was very helpful. The...

We enjoyed staying at Cerulean. The family room we had was very gorgeous & spacious with a fabulous view of the city and mt.Fuji. The location is great, a few min walk to the metro station and walking distance to the botanical garden. My daughter had misplaced her stuffed toy animal in the room. The manager personally bought her a...

This upscale spot is located closely to the heart of Shibuya, albeit directly besides the highway. However, no noise impact since the rooms are splendidly sound-protected. Overall, a very comfy place to stay. However, the full range of services from breakfast to restos to gym... seems overpriced considering the room rates.

Shibuya is one of the best area to stay in Tokyo..lively and full of bars , restaurants and shopping mecca! just walking distance from Shibuya Station. not easy to reach the hotel if caring suitcases, better to get at the hotel with limo bus service from Narita Airport. Otherwise you can take Narita Express train to Shibuya then a short...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
