Room was above average to Japanese hotel standard. Minimal to none in breakfast menu choices. As tourists we wanted to stay somewhere convenient. IT says it is near the JR station. Yes it is true, BUT it didnt say that you have to take an wide overpass everytime you want to cross the street. No other way to reach the...

two things are disappointing, first the floor carpet at the room is nasty, second, if you dont speak japanese, they dont have too many tv channels and no one is in english, the staff is friendly, the breakfast at first floor is poor, i didn't try the 3rd floor, maybe is better

Thank you very much for your feedback. First, we are so sorry about the carpet and the breakfast at first floor. We are planning to change the carpet and the wallpaper at all the rooms. About the breakfast, the 3rd floor (actually the 2nd floor) got good reviews. We will absolutely take care of the 1st floor. We hope to...

The location was excellent for us as first-timers to Tokyo. It was just a short 5-10 min walk to the Shibuya crossing and had great restaurants and bars in the streets around the hotel. The hotel itself was quirky and cute in its design and is a good boutique hotel...clean and modern. For two of us, the room was a...

Breakfast is pretty delicious. There are some problems with the kettle and the heater at first, but the staff helped us with care (we are really touched). The location is pretty good. 7 minutes then it's Shibuya Station, and 10 to 15 minutes will be the shopping centers. We are really touched by the service and we are really satisfied...

This was the second time I stayed at Shibuya Granbell (2 years after my first visit). The rooms are small but not as small as some of the rooms I have stayed in throughout Japan. The hotel is modern and very clean, they are accommodating with requests to leave bags before and after check in/check out. The location is amazing.....

Stayed here for 2 nights in January 2017, the hotel is clean, as was the room, the reception staff are helpful and english language is good. If your room has a breakfast included make sure you go to the restaurant on the 2nd floor, we made the mistake of going to the bar/coffee shop downstairs at the front, the food...

Stayed in this hotel for 8 days and was given one of their suite which was big by Tokyo standards. The suite was pleasant and clean but other members of my family stayed in a small and cramped room on the lower floors, better lighting would've made it more desirable. I liked that the location was just minutes from the...

We were upgraded to the suite since it was our honeymoon (it was greatly appreciated!!) - it was a smoking room so the scent was unpleasant however the suite was beautiful and the spaciousness was definitely a plus especially in a place like Tokyo! The staff were professional and well mannered. The complimentary breakfast was meh - would probably recommend...

I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this hotel! The staff was helpful and friendly, as they also accommodated to all our requests. They helped us call a taxi for an early morning flight and also gave us extra bottles of the green tea shampoo as a gift just because my mom mentioned she loved it and was wondering...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
