An excellent location for shopping and for food. You could shop and go back to hotel to unload your load easily! For those coming from the airport by limousines, best to alight at Shinjuku and take a taxi to get to the hotel. If you are coming from Tokyo station like I did, after coming out of east exit, best...

great space is Tokyo - if booked early, is only nominally more expensive but rooms are great quality, decent size, and facilities are excellent. Location is fine as well, in the heart of Shinjuku and 5~8min walk from the Shinjuku station

The location of this budget hotel is really amazing especially those who are first timers. A lot of restaurants near the hotel as well as mini-stores. You can enjoy walking from hotel and to some of the nearest stores. Aside from the space is a bit average but the rest are all good.

Hotel is in the heart of Shinjuku, 10 min from JR Shinjuku station. There are lot of restaurants and shops in walk distance. Hotel is not so big but very comfortable. Rooms are big enough and equipped by all necessary items. Service is good. Staff is well-skilled. Wi-fi is free but very slow.

The staff were superb and very helpful and service more akin to a more expensive hotel with a concierge. The rooms were a very good size for Tokyo and the bathroom a lot bigger than the average for the area. The room furniture and style was dated, but could be forgiven. The pillows were odd but replaced when requested. Daily...

Whilst not ones first trip to Tokyo, however having been there previously only for business meetings this was in a way ones first holiday there. Given that one would be out and about most of the day returning in the wee hours only to sleep we booked ourselves in for a 3 night stay here in September. One can easily...

Just a few minutes from the East Exit of Shinjuku Station. Great location for a first-timer in Tokyo. We enjoyed our walk to and from the station. The staff were all accommodating. The size of the room is so tiny but comfy and it has a large bathroom with all the needed toiletries.

It is in the heart of shinjukus red light area. But it wasn't a problem at all. The room and the bed however was really tiny. However we only stayes for like 2 nights so we didnt mind. It is super close to shinjuku station about 5 to 7 minutes walk. It was an over all average experience.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
