I stayed here for only one night but the moment I came in I experience bad customer service. All the facilities were good. They have a locker room, sauna, free towels, and other stuffs for bathing. It was kinda hard to find the place since you need to get on an elevator which is a bit hiding from the main...

The capsule hotel offers what the name suggests, simple and straightforward. Check-in: You have to remove your shoes and keep in a locker every time you enter the hotel. Once you have kept your shoes, you are given another locker which you can use to keep your valuables and bags. The locker can hold cabin size luggage or a medium...

Nothing to complain for its price. Book early because its always full on weekends. Common area is nicely equipped with a huge TV, many power socket and a small eatery (closed on sundays). Daily check-in and out, only public bath for men, individual lockers but have to keep your luggage at the racks. Capsule: comfortable for any who are smaller...

Stayed here for two nights in July. Findings was a little hard - it's on the 3rd floor of one of the many Shinjuku buildings! Upon arriving you must take off your shoes and put them in a locker. You leave your luggage in an open space (perfectly safe) and you are given a bigger locker with towels and nightwear...

This hotel is kind of hard to find even if you're using google maps. Their sign is only in Japanese, so if you can't read that you're kind of stuck wandering around. When I first arrived, the service was rude. They got a bit better the longer I was there, but I thought it was unprofessional of them. The beds...

Like many reviewers here, I picked the capsule hotel for the cultural experience and the amazing budget price (I paid about £22 for the night). Just a short walk from Shinjuku station and right next to some of Tokyo’s busiest nightlife, the experience was a good one and I’m really glad I did it. Here’s the process, if you’re unsure...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
