We arrived there about 9pm, checked in just fine and went to our room to drop our bags. Came downstairs to go find food and was greeted by 7 police and a guy going crazy hurling abuse at reception. We had to be escorted out of the way by police. Found food and came back. Woke up in the morning...

We spent 9 days here and the station just few minutes away walk from our room. Very basic room with all amenities provided plus pantry. Everything's just around the corner. You can even walk from Shinjuku station home if you have time to explore..

This is a great place in an absolutely fantastic location. My friends and I had two days to spend in Tokyo, and with the help of the front desk staff we were able to get a lot in! The room was clean and some staff spoke better English than others, but overall it was a great stay. Yes, the room...

This was a very good basic hotel, close to shops, restaurants and post office. The bathroom had a great spa bath. A laundry bag of washing cost 1000 yen (about ten dollars) and was done in less than a day. There was a soft drink machine in the lobby which was free. Just the thing when you came back hot and...

It's near stores, shop. In the middle of Shinjuku and it's not hard to find. The room can carry 7 people with 1 bathroom and mini kitchen, they have a TV Sony 55 inch. This place is great!! However, the room is cramp and space are limited. Pretty hard to charge electronic devices and too much Japanese, right.

I stayed here back in 2009. My self and 2 other guys shared a room that consisted of a large double bed and a narrow sofa bed. The room had very little wardrobe and luggage storage, but did have a large bathroom with a shower, jet bath and toilet. The room was clean but with no natural lighting, it did...

Due to a mix up with our original plans, we found ourselves homeless for the night and were frantically finding a location to stay and we were lucky to find a room for 3 at the last minute here. The staff were friendly even taking our reservations only 15 minutes prior and our room was ready in 30 minutes. It...

The pictures shown on the website is different when we checked into the hotel. Maybe there is another similary hotel with the same name? Reception not friendly. Rooms are small and old. There is bathtub. Location near the train station and many eateries around. Really disappointed. Wifii does not work.

Shinjuku is a strategic place to shop, eat and sightseeing. The hotel is not that easy to be located, from the subway station I have to use google map to locate the hotel because it is within walking distance so taxi driver wont drive you there. Inside the room is fine, it has heater for winter season, hot water for...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
