I spent 2 nights here together with my family last year, we like the the hotel so much. The room is great, clean and full of amenities. The location is fantastic, very near to convenience stores and popular Japanese Restaurants. Nearest subway station is 4-5 minutes on foot but you can take taxy as well since it's strategically located the...

Stayed 5 days in this serviced apt located in a quiet neighborhood. Most friendly and helpful service staff. Modern room facilities with handy kitchenette that clean and well maintained. Free wifi. No frills. Subway train station is a pleasant 10 min walk, with good choices of cafés, food and convenient shops. Excellent value!

Great central location really close to the Shinjuku subway line and many many restaurants. The staff speaks great English and are very helpful in helping you with anything you request, from flagging you a taxi to writing that you don't eat meat or fish out in Japanese for a restaurant. Rooms are small but comfortable with everything you could need.

I stayed 9 nights and chose the property after all the great reviews and I am not disappointed. The rate is very reasonable for what is included. I am staying in a studio apartment which is very roomy. Kitchen is fully equipped, electronics come with instructions. The place is very clean and amenities are provided. The laundry room costs ¥200...

We stayed at Citadines Shinjuku for six days in September. We had a standard room, which was very spacious and had a great view from the 9th floor. Our room looked out onto the main street but there was no traffic noise. The staff were very helpful and polite. Citadines is 4 mins walk from the nearest subway station and...

Stayed here on a buisness trip to Japan. It was my first trip to Japan, so was not sure Werder to stay in Tokyo. Ended up booking the hotel due to the nice reviews here on tripadvisor and the great rate, especially compared to othellokage properties in Tokyo. We were welcomed by the friendly team at the front desk. Despite...

Well located, close to Shinjuku station, yet quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly and communication in English is no problem. We forgot something at the hotel and after getting into contact they immediately sent it to our next address.

This was gonna be my sixth time in Tokyo and I felt I needed a change of the hotel I had been staying at during the three last years because I've been able to notice that once they see you are a faithful customer, they start paying you much less attention as a guest. Anyway, I made up my mind...

The hotel is located in the less busy part of Shinjuku. We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed it very much. It is very quiet through out the day, and the walls are quite insulated from the noise from the outside. The rooms are clean. The bedding could use a bit of improvements as the mattress and pillows were too...

Good location in Shinjuku. Shopping areas, restaurants, bars, etc... Nearby. Nearest metro subway station is only 5 min. walk, and Shinjuku main station only 15 min. walk. Nice view to the city from the room. Wifi was fast and free in the whole hotel. Big room (Apart-hotel) with kitchenette and sofa/dining corner. Not only Japanese tv, not usual in Japan....

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
