Was a good and big room which wasnt so expensive. The location is quite good. Few restaurants nearby and within 10 mins of walk some big bar areas. 5 minutes to closest train station but its an easy walk. A laundry place nearby also.

Although the distance away from the main metro station is about a 15 minute walk, it is a great place to stay. We stayed in a two bed room. The people at the check in desk are extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us find good meals and local festivals.

This hotel could be described as cheap and cheerful. Located in one of the many back alleys in Korea town in Shinjuku we were dubious at first but it it turned out to be the perfect location for our family when we first landed in Tokyo and needed a base to explore this exciting city. Don't let the topless wine...

Not the best hotel you might book, but you get for what you pay. Perfect for low budget travelers out there. Friendly stuff and central. Facilities are a bit old but not bad for a short stay. If you're looking for comfort i wouldn't suggest that you stay there, but as for me i'm comfortable sleeping in a tent on...

I would say this has to be the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. I'm all for budget hostels as I am travelling but this was something else. The bathroom was filth, the bed covers were dirty, one of the beds was broken and on the floor. The heating kept us up all night making the LOUDEST noise I...

Delivery of beers to the room at 1am when you're drunk. Nice friendly staff. Central location. Cute girls on the corner trying to pick you up. Great fun and a experience you must have for the boys!! Great food close by! Reverse cycle air con providing solid heating. Good clean sheets and lots of cute girls at Cafes close by.

Nothing much to complaint for a budget hotel especially well located in city center but the facility is little old and considered dirty among Japanese strict hygienic levels. Overall is OK for short term travelers. Front desk is good with English speaking.

My partner, our friend and I stayed here for three nights in November. Overall, the room was fine for what we needed and we had no real issues. We paid very little so we didn't expect anything grand! Our room was on the fifth floor and we did notice that this seemed to be a bit of a dumping ground...

Visiting from America and we immediately found bed bugs on our mattresses and the curtains in the room and had to leave. The owner seemed to know there was a bed bug problem and watched us the entire time before we left to make sure we didn't inform other guests of the problem. There are better hotels in the area...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
