Great location in Shinjuku but very small rooms - no room on floor once our 2 suitcases were there! Tiny bathroom and not very clean. Only stayed 1 night and glad it was only 1 as very noisy and over heated room

The location is very good! If you take the the Limo-bus from Narita, get off at West Exit Shinjuku Station, which is about 600m from the hotel. It is also convenient for the Metro as it is near some useful subway stations, like Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Nishiguchi. It is also near enough to the Metropolitan Govt Building, and Shinjuku...

Room is small, but you are in Tokyo. If you want a large room you will pay a large price. Room was clean, we had wi-fi, a fridge, television, small desk, pant press and breakfast. Liked that it was a ten minute walk to train station.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Shinjuku Nishi Mystay in late March. The location is excellent; about 15 minutes from Shinjuku Station; about 5 minutes from One Kaido Avenue. The facilities were very clean. You have to walk up a number of stairs to the front door although there may have been another entrance with an elevator that...

My wife and I stayed here on a four-day mini vacation in Tokyo. The location is excellent in Shinjuku. When I read the other reviews stating it was hard to find I was a bit puzzled because I had no issues whatsoever. They have a big sign on the hotel which is visible from the main road. The check in...

Hotel Mystay Nishi Shinjuku - is a two star hotel - no matter what they say. A little run down, and a little shabby. Worst - the bedrooms are tiny, in fact there was hardly room for beds and guests. The photos on the sight are misleading. We all expect photos to flatter, and Japanese bedroom to be small, but...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
