Great location - walking distance to the alleyway bars + restaurants of Shinjuku. Directly opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Governent Buildings. Walking about 5 minutes in underground arcade to Shinjuku station, with lots of food and cute shops. Cool retro bar on the top floor with happy hour drinks. Lovely spacious rooms, free newspaper, quiet, nice toiletries.

I accompanied my wife for her business trip to see wonderful Tokyo. The staff was perfect and kind as Japanese people are.The location was not city center, but there was a very big metro and train station next to the hotel, you can go anywhere using it. And was this spectacular view over Tokyo, whether you are on Main Tower... More

Rooms were clean but quite dated. I wouldn't stay there again if i ever went back to Tokyo but location is central and transport links were very good and punctual. Didn't eat at the hotel as nice as it looked it was pricey compared to other places

My family and I have stayed in Keio Plaza for the third times. The first and second time we came with the tourist agency, so we have to stay at the deluxe room. In the third time, we traveled ourselves and came for the Plaza Premiere room in the main tower. We found that the room is quite nice and... More

Our first impression is that the room was a little outdated (kind of a 70's hotel room). Once we got used to it we got comfortable and even thought it had its charm. It was super clean. The hotel is close to Shinjuku station and Tochomae station you can take virtually any train line (JR, Keio etc) Our only complaint... More

My Husband and I were on our honeymoon in Tokyo and unfortunately our travel agent mixed up our room request and we were put in the old tower. Heart of the city easy access to any part. Rooms are clean and I imagine they all have nice views. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Good for Americans I recommend this location. Got a deal with Amex one night free. The place is big and there are little shops inside. The buffet is good and modest for Tokyo standards.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
