Usual high quality from the Hyatt. Rooms are quite big - we had a king room and on with two single beds. They have a lounge and table area. Big bathroom with bath/ shower and nice toiletries. Wifi was included for us as Hyatt members but otherwise there's a charge. Our rooms overlooked a nearby green nd had great views...

I arrived Tokyo in the morning and it was raining, I didn't have an umbrella, and had to walk to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo from Shinjuku JR Station. The rain wasn't heavy but I was wet by the time I arrived at the hotel for check-in. On entering the hotel, the staff was very helpful. The bell captain brought me...

The hotel is very close to Shinjuku station, which is a main station in Tokyo. There are many restaurants and stores that are 10-15 minutes away walking. The staff were very helpful with giving directions. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes from the hotel to Shinjuku station and runs every 20 minutes, however this gets full very...

I spent 6 nights at the Tokyo Hyatt Regency and found it to be clean, comfortable and amazing. The staff are all genuinely happy to provide help and very welcoming. Housekeeping is unobtrusive - I especially like the button for "Do Not Disturb" or "Make up Room". This was my first time in Asia and was very happy to have...

The hotel is not at the Shinjuku station so it costs around 900+ JPY for taxi to reach Isetan or Takashimaya. There is a nice park next to the hotel where you can jog around. The executive lounge is fine and the service is excellent. The swimming pool is rather small and it comes with a jacuzzi. The gym is...

The hotel is conveniently located to the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. You're no more than a 10 minute walk or a quick bus ride away from one of the busiest parts of town with tons of shopping and good food. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. We ate on the Regency Club level and the service and food were...

Been a while since I last stayed in a branded chain hotel, i nearly forgot about the standard of service of a great hotel. The location may not be the closest to Shinjuku station, but it has another tube station right in front of it, it also has free shuttle bus to Shinjuku station. The well maintained room is one...

This is an exceptional hotel that I have rated above all my expectations in every way. The room was beautiful with an astounding view of mount Fuji (see attached picture). Because I had Regency Club access I could enjoyed great breakfast and cocktails , all served with the well known japanese courteousness. Although this is the least luxurious of the...

This hotel is most comfortable to me because I don't need any posh feeling to hotels that I stay especially for family travel. Services, Staff and room are great every time, but there is one difficulty for those who believe the quality of sleep at the top priority, it may be due to beds or bed room.

We stayed from Dec 19- Dec 25, very satisfied with the hotel and the shuttle bus service to/from Shinjuku Station is a very plus point as Shinjuku station is the central station to go anywhere in tokyo The room is big and spacious, the breakfast at the caffe is good

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
