I'm a frequent visitor of Japan and I stayed in many different budget business hotels before. However, this one offers the WORST guest service that I regretted booking it. I cannot speak any Japanese so I always rely on the staff at the reception task to help communicate with the local, e.g. making reservations with local restaurants. However, when I...

Although the hotel is situtated not in the main area of Shinjuku, you could very easily walk to Shinjuku station or if you prefer; take the subway from Higashi Shinjuku to Shinjuku (only one stop), which is right next to the hotel. We got a twin room and found the size pretty decent. Unfortunately, I fell pretty sick and needed...

Room is not huge but clean and well lit. Complete toiletries in the bathroom. Great location.. just 30-36 steps away from exit b2 of Higashi-Shinjuku Station. At least 3 convenience store nearby and there's a good 24hr sushi place a block or 2 away. There's also several good restaurants in the area. Although not fluent, front desk staff assist well...

Good location near the Higashi Shinjuku station. Walking distance to the Meiji Shrine (and Harajuku - but quite a long walk!). About 30 mins from Tokyo station (with a couple of stops via JR Train and subway but very doable with luggage). Rooms small but comfortable enough. Really quite and really dark which meant we slept so late! Breakfast is...

The hotel is just 5 steps away from Higashi Shinjuku station, very accessible! Although the room was small, it was clean. It had the regular hotel room amenities such as toiletries, hairdryer, coffee, bath tub. During our stay there was an ongoing renovation of the Laundry Area at the second floor. There are convenience stores nearby as well as a...

It's not one of the best hotels I've been to but it was one of the Last affordable options I have due to end of year holidays . Just annoyed from a couple of things. - asked for a international charger in which he said I've handed them all out .. immediately without even checking any documents - the next...

Friendly staff - nice room. Happy family. Free wifi always a hit with teens. Same for the heated toilet seat. Quite and clean. Bathtub a good size - great selection of power outlets to charge our numerous electronic devices.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
