Staff was nice and reception area was modern looking BUT the room itself was tired looking with very old furnishing and poorly maintained, especially the sink and bathroom walls were badly stained by water. Given that it's a budget hotel, they don't make up the room throughout your whole stay but they do give u fresh towels upon request. The...

My husband and i stayed in this hotel in Nov 2016 for 5 days. Location is pretty good - close to Kuramae and Asakusa Station, even though it is a bit of a travel (~20mins) to main areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku etc. There's a 7-11 very nearby, really convenient for breakfast and supper. We arrived in the morning and the...

We stayed here for a week in November as we've previously stayed at other MyStays locations and found the budget accommodation acceptable as we don't spend much time at the hotel anyway. This hotel is close to Kuramae Station and Asukusa Station so easy enough to get around. We did spend too much time travelling though so if it's Tokyo...

Stayed 3 nights at MyStays Asakusa in August 2016. Walking distance to Kuramae station for both Toei Asakusa and Oedo lines. Able to catch a direct train to/from Haneda airport/Kuramae station. Quiet location, eateries and convenience marts within 5 minutes walk. We did a slow walk to Asakusa to visit the sites. Though room size is typically small, but cleanliness...

I chose this place for its proximity to Asakusa but note that the area is very quiet at night, as the Senso-ji itself. Well equipped bedroom, including a microwave; numerous amenities, nice view at night.

Spent 4 nights there, excellent position, very close to asakusa and the whole Ueno area, lot of good restaurants close by and supermarkets. WiFi not good enough, room very very small like almost Everywhere else in japan, and cleaning not good...hair on the pillow and bed. A little bit pricy for what you actually get. Overall we had a quiet...

The hotel was very contemporary. First impression was that it was new. But more likely recently remodeled. Yes, I know....Japanese spaces are small and compact.
