Located in a quiet area of Tokyo, this was a great start for our holiday. The instructions to get here are actually very good and the staff and owner Hiroshi could not be more helpful. Breakfast is a simple help -ourself to toast and drinks, which is enough to get you off for the day. The rooms are plain, but...

My family and I (with two children aged 7 and 3) recently stayed for 5 nights at this place. It is a lovely little inn where you are made to feel like family. We stayed in the family room which suited us very well, there was enough space for everyone and everything. The Inn also has a washing machine in...

Located in a quieter neighbourhood of Tokyo, Family Inn Saiko is a great place to introduce yourself to Tokyo or as a relaxed finishing spot after a trip around Japan. Hiroshi is extremely friendly and informative, providing useful information on places to visit and looking up travel times for getting around and getting to the airport on departure. Very reasonably...

Family Inn Saiko provided the perfect start to our trip - everyone we met were friendly and eager to help us find our way around. The Inn is a 10 minute walk away from the closest subway, and a 25 minute walk from the closest JR station. We elected to walk to the JR station, as it is a very...

The staff is nice and helpful, they respond promptly to emails and provide a lot of helpful information on how to get there (including...

You can get an nice experience of sleeping on futons on tatami mats and take a Japanese bath on the top floor. The staff is very friendly, speak good English and can give recommendations on activities in the...

The staff was so friendly, especially Nicholas who initially greeted me and checked me out. Every day I saw him he was giving me advice on the locations I was planning to visit and the inn is well stocked with brochures and maps. The location is great too, being one local station away from Ikebukuro. There's extremely easy access to...

This was our first trip to Japan, so sleeping on the futon bed on the floor and no chairs in the room was new experience for us (this was of course on purpose, that we wanted to experience the japan tradition). However we are very satisfied with the room in Family Inn Saiko, it was very clean, big enough, the...

“They will likely assign the rooms. But this is a good place to stay after trying other Ryokans out. Very clean (like most Ryokans) but the in-room bathroom adds to comfort and convenience. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but is still close to major subway stations and has a lot of delicious food.”
