1. Awesome location. about 2-3mins walk to the train station (you can reserve Shinkansen seats here) where you'd just need 1 stop to Akihabara (about 2mins train ride) for major transit to Tokyo and Ueno stations for the Shinkansen. 2. It's definitely rather old with broken hangers (all were broken but luckily usable). Such small toilet that I had a hard time to move about (it's a definite problem for bigger sized people). 3. Staffs were very polite and incredibly helpful :) 4. Can open the window if you like cooler room temperature (which was a plus given that some hotels you can't even open it).

Close to several train stations. An affordable tiny room with strong AC! Great water pressure too! They always cleaned the room and the wifi was in the room. (I saw another post that said it was only downstairs. Not so.) They even have an ancient computer in the lounge if you need. Also you can use the coin operated washer dryer if you need. tho it takes a while to dry. As a vegan there weren't a lot of options nearby but the local Chinese restaurant had some veggie stuff going on and a Nepalese spot down the block had some veggie options as well. I would go here again.

Is it small? Yes. Is it a 5 star resort? No. Is it trying to be? Not particularly. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, inexpensive hotel which is very close to a train station, then here is your hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet, the bathroom is small, but lots of things are small to me, I am 6'2". The size did not hamper my stay, We had to play a bit of luggage tetris, but this is the price you pay carrying that much luggage overseas. Being a larger person, the bed was a bit short, but I didn't have a problem sleeping, I slept diagonally. The staff is friendly and can speak English. It always helps to know Japanese, but some of us did not study hard enough in school, so its a nice bonus! There is a lot of restaurants, bars, convenience stores(Lawsons being my

I'm a solo traveler about 6ft tall. If you are used to luxury hotel and cluster phobic, this is definitely not the place for you. Room is very small, bathroom is even smaller, but the room is very clean and the neighbor hood is quiet. It's close to JR Asakusa-bashi station and it's about 10 ~ 15min walk from Akihabara. Lots of convenience store and restaurants near by. Facility looks old and outdated, but it was very comfortable stay. Water pressure was good, quiet, safe, and fast wifi what else can you ask for? Definitely would stay here again.

You get what you pay for, but the room is clean, secure and we only used the room to sleep anyway, as we were exploring Tokyo every waking minute. Very conveniently located as it is very close to the subway/train station and the main street has restaurants and food stores. Wifi is only downstairs but free, get the password at reception.

Staying in this hotel for 7 days for my visit to Anime Japan convention at Tokyo Big Sight. All is still the same like I remember: good location to my hobbies (Akihabara), easy access to overall Tokyo (Asakusabashi Metro & JR station), super friendly staffs and so very helpful especially on our check out time. Sure I'll be staying here again for Anime Japan 2017

Great location close to Asakusabashi station, and not far from Asakusa / Senso-ji Shrine. Wifi is available in the lobby and the rooms are well kept and clean. Laundry and help desk is also at the reception area. This is a family run hotel and the owners are very humble and welcoming. I would suggest this to anyone as it is within everyone's budget especially for a hotel in Tokyo.

First the good: The staff was attentive, and understanding once we decided we no longer wanted to stay there. Also, the hotel wasn't dirty. Now, It seems like it was built in the 70's and has not received any renovations since then. The furniture, carpet, elevators, paint, bed linens, and just about everything looks like it is still the same from when it was inaugurated (at least a couple of decades ago), and quite run down. If i was on a shoe string budget, I'd probably go to a hostel. This hotel was inexpensive, but for a reason. If you are backpacking and just want a place to crash, with a room for yourself, then I guess it would be ok. But totally not nice if you expect minimal amount of comfort or you are travelling as a couple. Once we cancelled our reservations there,

What can I say? It's cheap for Tokyo and close to a train station. Room was comfortable enough, and WiFi was dependable. Coffee shops and convenience stores are close by. Good if you reserve late (thus little choice) or just want to same money.

I stayed one night and location seems to be good. It is 30min from Haneda airport without transfer(Asakusa subway line) and it is 3min away from the asakusabashi station. There are two 24hour convenience store(1min). There are few 24hours japanese style franchises restaurant(ramen, gyudong etc) It was good for small breakfast. It is very close to Asakusa which is one of tourist attractions but not that close to downtown such as Shinjuku, Sibuya.(20~30min) But is was reasonable considering price. Room is quite old and very small like other japanese biz hotel. But it was clean and staff was friendly.
