Graphy Nezu is in one of the quietest neighbourhoods of Tokyo, in walking distance from the Ueno station. We had an enjoyable stay, away from the bustle of the city. The staff is very attentive. The hotel serves a western style breakfast, as well as fine local beers and other drinks.

Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. The Nezu area is a downtown area in Tokyo, and we consider it one of the quieter areas. The area is surrounded by residential areas, so you can enjoy a relaxing and not noisy hotel stay. At the same time, the hotel is located close to JR Ueno Station and Tokyo Metro Nezu Station, providing easy access to the city's sightseeing spots. There are many cafes and stores in the Nezu area, where you can enjoy a variety of things such as bread, vintage clothing, and coffee. We look forward to welcoming you again.

The location is easily reachable and it's in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Great if you want to get a bit of a break from the nearby hectic Akihabara. What made the location as great as it is for me, is the amazing staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Even with the all the cancelations because of COVID-19, I still had a great time and a lot of it was owed to the staff here.

This was a scam, they advertise themself as a hotel but in reality they are a hostel. Communal bathroom and showers. And they didn't offer us an upgraded room with a restroom. The food arrived in half an hour and we got sour burgers for 4000¥, we feel scammed and dissapointed.

Our hotel is both a hotel and a hostel. We have dormitory rooms where you share a room with other guests, as well as private rooms with bathroom and toilet facilities. If you want to enjoy a relaxing hotel stay in a private room, we recommend you to stay in a private room. Regarding the food, we are sorry to hear that it took you so long to serve it. Our café has a small kitchen space and it takes time to serve the food when there are many orders. We hope you can understand this.

Friendly service, very modern. The neighbourhood is a great home base for Tokyo - easily connected by transit, but quiet and separate from the intense tourist areas.

The hostel room was a bit crowded and cramped, but not to an extreme degree.

Dear, Joseph A Thank you very much for making a reservation at our hotel. Thank you also for this review. We strive to provide friendly service that is neither too hard nor too soft. We are glad you praised us on this point. Also, although Nezu is a little far from the main tourist attractions, this makes it possible to enjoy the atmosphere of living in Tokyo, and there is a good old Yanesen spot nearby where you can enjoy sightseeing. If you have the chance to come to Tokyo again, please do come and stay at our hotel again! Front Desk Ishida

It was my first time staying at Hotel Graphy in over 5 years and it's still a wonderful experience. The staff are super and the small touches like daily welcome drink, fully stocked communal kitchen, roof lounge, etc. we still great. My one minor complaint is that the breakfast was much better in the past. I would previously go just for the breakfast when I was in the area.

The hostel reception/cafe doesn't open before 7am (so you cannot enter the building before 7am). After that, unlike most of japanese hostels, they actually are nice enough to let you check in a bit earlier only if the room is ready... But don't expect to be checked in at 7am. You might want to try their delicious coffe while you wait! They also have a nice lounge area and a typical japanese tatami if you want to rest a bit before check in. Hope that helps! :)

Hi! It was pretty easy. Google maps will give you the timetable for the trains from Haneda. Ueno is the nearest major station. It’s a 10 minute walk past the zoo but completely doable with a suitcase. Alternatively, Nezu station is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Have fun in Tokyo.
