Delicious chef’s curry and Wild boar cottage pie reasonably priced real home cooked food. Best food we have had so far in this area. Staff were welcoming and very friendly . Our Labrador was made very welcome too. Proper pub grub of high quality. Highly recommend ! Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely room but bed a bit worn out, could feel the springs. Good size bathroom with large over bath shower. Car park only holds about 4 cars but luckily we found a space outside. Woke at 7am by the sound of bottles being sorted outside the window. Beautiful 15th century pub with amazing decor & fantastic food. Mostly friendly staff. Very nice breakfast with several choices of eggs, porridge or a large full English.

A very nice surprise! Stayed here overnight. Good rooms. A bit whacky but good size, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. The staff are all extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. If you like your gin and rum, the bar is the place for you. 40 different varieties! Good selection of beers and wines too. Overall, highly recommended.
