We had our wedding at Norwood House yesterday (6th April) and everything was spectacular!!! From the start owners Ida and Chris were warm and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The room looked amazing, the detail Ida went to was 2nd to none. The reception was perfect! The wait staff were terrific and very efficient and friendly! One of the...

Booked 1 night accom. 13/2/13 for 25/3/13 - 41 days in advance- on C/Card security to hold booking. THEY TOOK THE MONEY THEN, NOT ON ARRIVAL AS IS THE USUAL CASE. Room very cramped, carpet dirty, bathroom miniscule, shower curtain mouldy UGH!!

Attended a wedding reception here. Fair drive (although scenic) from anything. Great looking venue, romantic set up with beautiful outdoor country feel. Could be much better if it wasn't for the stress head manager. Unfortunately, this seemed to be passed on to the rest of the staff who seemed to be quite up tight for no apparent reason apart from...

This venue states that all the rooms except one have been refurbished. We must have got that one room. It had a double bed and a single bed and a sink and a hot plate built into a bench. The ensuite was small with a toilet and shower. There was no room for a chair or table. We could not...

We called Norwood House on the day we wanted to stay, they had one room left for $120. The manager explained that it was 'a basic room that would get the job done'. We had low expectations, but it was great! Clean, compact. Very comfy king size bed with LOTS of pillows. Kettle, iron & board, toaster, tea & coffee....

We asked for a double with spa and got upgraded to a suite. I walked in and the room hadn't been cleaned (had been overlooked from the night before). The owner was very apologetic and offered us a drink while we waited while he cleaned it. Couln't get the tv working in the sitting area. Shower was part of the...

We had a party at Norwood house on the 2nd June 2012 and firstly the service and food was awesome, the room we had was very comfortable, unlike many places the room had furniture in it and yes that makes the room smaller but at least we could sit on a lounge not just on a bed. We slept very...

We stayed here as we were keen to have a corner spa. The reception centre looked really nice, but as soon as we went in to our room, it had a cheesy red plush round bed that sunk badly in the middle and a spa that didn't work properly. There were cobwebs through out the room, and the room was...
