We booked in for 2 nights over the weekend. The room we had was newly renovated . Clean tidy and quite homely for a hotel room. Bed linen was lovely and fresh and the room was spotlessly clean. Great location across the road from the beach and near the shops. Kitchenette is limits but had enough for us to use... More

Visited last week for 2 days. The hotel was beautiful. Rooms have just been renovated and are so nice and fresh. Beds were comfortable and the electric blankets were a lovely surprise. Lovely big high pressure shower too I didn't have time to use the kitchenette but if you were staying longer, there is a fridge and microwave and I... More

I booked this hotel because it had a stay and bathe package deal. As we had already planned on visiting the Hot springs nearby it was a well priced no brainer. The reception area and onsite restaurant were closed due to refurbishment which was a little disappointing as I had planned on eating at the highly rated Indian restaurant there.... More

We wanted to visit Sorrento but were under-awed by the accommodation offered there so decided to try nearby Blairgowrie. We were glad we had. As it was the school holidays Sorrento was packed full of people and was totally unpleasant. Blairgowrie was a lot quieter although there were still plenty of people around. We stayed on a Friday night and... More

Modern and up to date decor, clean "apartments", currently renovation a few! Small grounds with no quite areas to relax during nice weather although there is a pool and it's right across the road from the beach how ever there is no beach view due to trees and the position of the balcony. Overall great quiet little place to stay... More

Our room at the Boathouse resort was a warm relaxing oasis after a long drive through driving rain. The recently updated room was warm but had plenty of room. A hot spa warmed cool bodies and Pizza and a glass of red from the nearby Pizza house left us completely relaxed. The office staff were very welcoming and we were... More

Had a most unpleasant experience. Arrived to a reasonable looking room with slightly weird odour. Went to bed and woke to being bitten by some nasty itchy mite in the bed/mattress. The manager kindly gave us a different room the next night and had no problems in that room but it certainly marred the experience. Won't be staying there again... More

Dear Oliver, I am sorry that you had a reaction to something. As discussed, I was surprised that you did not come to say anything to us until 6pm the following day. You also said that you checked the bed & could not see anything to suggest mites of any sort, & that your wife continued to sleep in the... More

We finally got to stay here after driving past many times. We stayed one night at short notice when the weather was nice. As most of the reviews mention - how refreshing to have friendly welcoming staff. The male at reception couldn't have been more helpful even walking us to our unit. We were upstairs and the other end from... More

I am really bewildered by the good reviews for this place as our experience was really awful - I will start with the positives. The lady who attended us when we arrived was very nice and personable and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom needs an overhaul particularly being a spa suite but it was serviceable. The road... More

The Boathouse Resort Motel is on the main road in Blairgowrie across the street from the water. We had a nice room on the second floor with a balcony.Free parking is available right outside the room. There are a few cafes just down the street but the restaurant in the hotel called Café Legend is excellent. The town of Sorrento... More
