When traveling to Munich this is my favorite hotel. Yes it maybe a bit outside Munich but for me the distance to the office is the same. Don't like to be in the crowded city center so in this hotel I can come to relax. I like the beds and the bathroom is perfect for me. Just a perfect shower...

We've just returned from a 3 night stay into this amazing hotel. One you entered it feels like a boutique hotel, service custom made and a nice bavarian atmosphere. Location is very good, 40 min by train to Munich, just across the street where Sbahn stops. Welcoming and check-in was very fast, although we were there 10am. We had one...

Sister-in-law recommended this hotel within a 2-minute walk to her home as ideal quarters for us spillovers for a family reunion. Love the story of descendants of original owners now running the place with contemporary sensibilities, particularly with respect to the environment. Fruiting strawberries and olive trees dot the patio. Food is organic driven and wow, what a breakfast buffet...

This is a family run hotel in a semi rural location on a main road south of Munich. It is simply but elegantly furnished and is extremely comfortable. The staff are all friendly and efficient overseen by the active owner who is almost always present. The hotel is opposite the S-bahn and so central Munich is only 25 minutes away...

Very much enjoyed my stay here. The owners have put together a well run place that is comfortable, easy, gentile. Nice materials everywhere. (Tile, wood, linens.) Front desk is staffed by lovely, helpful people. What a respite during my business trip!

We've been staying at the Landhotel Klostermaier regularly for the past couple of years. It's located outside of Munich, to the south, right across from the Icking S-bahn station. So access to Munich is quick and efficient. This "boutique"-style hotel is family-run by Frau Karin Schmidt and her friendly team. The hotel is spotlessly clean, very comfortable(especially the beds!) and...

The Landhotel is located about 30 km southbound from Munich. The hotel itself has professional but personal service with very good breakfast served in the central guestroom. With a bit of luck you have a very beautiful view on the distant mountains (I consider this a perfect start of my day). While there is little nightlife you can go out...

It's a little far from the central, but it's quite a gem. Location is excellent, just down a flight of stairs from Icking station. However, going down the stairs with a heavy luggage is a little challenging. English speaking reception was a great welcome in Germany. Very helpful and nice. They even helped me to carry my heavy bags up...

We stayed in February 2014, and I was pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. We didn't have an ethernet cable for the internet, and they were glad to lend us one during our stay. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so we ate at the restaurant at the hotel based on...
