Our camp site recommended this restaurant to us and we are glad they did. The issue that caused us some difficulty was finding the location. It would help if there was a link to google maps that located the restaurant. They do have a web site - Quiers.net which is worth a look. Anyway back to the actual review. If...

A place to find peace and quiet and to take in the beautiful countryside. We only stayed one night but it helped us to unwind after a long day’s drive. Unfortunately our stay was on a Monday night and they don’t do a restaurant service on Mondays. However if the breakfast is an example of the food quality in the...

Nestling against the hillside above the village of Compeyre is this stone-built farmhouse with a separate building just for guests. Lichen-covered stone is everywhere, chickens live right up against the house, the potager is round the back, above all you step out of your room to find the great sweep of Aveyron countryside below you. Rooms are simple but have...

What an incredible evening! the setting, the food, was perfect. came here (just for dinner, not for accommodations) in early august 2014 and just had the most picturesque dinner. Make a reservation in advance. Food was excellent. Very reasonably priced. Hope i can go back someday again.

We had a very good farm stay for a very reasonable price. The rooms are pleasant, each with a bath and toilet, in a building away from the main house. Dinner is served in the main house and offers no choice. There was a nice salad entree with a little scrambled egg, then a farçun of eggs and herbs with...

After being let down by another place (not worth providing the name of that one!) we were truly surpised and enchanted by Ferme Auberge de Quiers. We had booked at very short notice and arrived after a long drive to this beautiful place. Its apparent isolated location only adds to the experience, but for all of that, it was easy...

We booked in here en route to Nice, taking our time driving through France. The peace and tranquility of the setting is magic, looking down into the Tarn valley. We opted to eat in and this was the highlight! An enormous 5 course meal all organic, home cooked and delicious! At 23 euros it was by far our best meal...

We ate here several times about twenty years ago when camping with the family. This time we stayed two nights as a couple, on a half board basis. The food was excellent once more - simple, no choice, but well chosen and well cooked. They could not have been kinder to us, even picking us up from down in the...

I had found 1 review of this Auberge (Inn) on Tripadvisor and after viewing the website and a couple of nearby hotels, my wife and I decided to go for it. We were not disappointed. Not so much an Inn, no bar and fixed meal times, but more of a "gite". The farm is at the end of a long...

This was the third B&B in a two-week stay in central France. This great B&B is located ABOVE Compeyre, a small village overlooking the Tarn river. Access is via a narrow, switchbacked road, but the views and the quiet are well worth the ride (and yet, no more than 15 minutes away from Millau). The 5 chambres d'hôtes are in...
