I was privileged to taste an Ibizan local white wine 750ml (mixed grape Variety with classification of "Vin de la terra") at 26€ more less.
Carpaccio salad, beef with grilled vegetables among others. I have to admit the feeling you get is like staying in a rural area without lowering the standards of the service. Waiter Federico ensuring that everything run smoothly
Chef Marc greeted us and we were happy to say that he did excellent work with the doness of the beef
Lastly the night ended with backgammon and meeting the owners Lucas and his wife Tina. My takeaway is that Can Luc does not fail to impress because there's a pool and cabanas to start off the night and as you go to the restaurant you suddenly feel a boho chic atmosphere without being pretentious.
Prices:very reasonable for what you get.
We arrived incredibly late but were met around midnight by a cheerful young man who parked up the car & showed us to our lovely room. They had laid on a platter of cheese and ham to stave off the munchies. Our room was incredible. Over- sized ceiling with black out curtains and nets. A comfy superking bed with the hotel logo embroidered on the sheets. Huge flat screen TV with Netflix and other streaming services. Great Wi-Fi. Triple seat cream leather couch inside. A desk with books on Ibiza. A kitchenette which had a screen door to put it out of sight if you wanted.
The bathroom had two huge sinks and a long mirror. Separate loo and bidet. Separate shower and another private walled garden to dry off au naturel if that was your fancy. We used the huge fluffy monogrammed bath sheets. The hotel provides beach towels on a trust basis which they gladly renewed each day. There’s an Outside patio room, part covered, with seating for 10 people leading down to a well planted private grassy garden with a double four-poster outdoor sun bed.
The Breakfast food was cooked to order with coffee and toast stations, cold mixed meats and cheese, cereals and smoked salmon. There was yoghurt and fruit, dried fruit and nuts and baked fancies. The chef appeared every few minutes and restocked the selection so each guest never comes to an empty pass. The wait staff were very discreet and helpful.
The owners of the hotel are very mindful of how tourism may impact the environment. They offer their guests to join in with established protocols of reclaiming and recycling. The laundry is low impact and there is minimal food waste. These options reinforce feelings of positivity and wellbeing.
Everything is close by as you are in the Centre of the island, I highly recommend hiring a car or moped to get out and about.
If you want a 5 star independent traditional hotel this one is worth it weight in gold. very welcoming and friendly, if i come back to Ibiza i would not stay anywhere else.
I’m not much of a review writer but this time I really wanted to share with others our amazing experience.
We landed very early in the morning and came straight to the hotel hoping they would allow us to relax and rest by the pool while waiting for the room to be ready. The staff was very kind and welcoming right feom the moment we spoke. They saw us being extremely tired and told us to go have breakfast while our room was being ready. We had breakfast and wanted to pay for it but they wouldn’t allow it, as we have booked the room with breakfast included. It is for the first time we’re not charged for breakfast on the day of our arrival. Extremely generous of them to offer this. While having breakfast, the room was already ready and we could go in at 10am. Again a wonderful gesture from their side thinking that very few, next to no hotel in a high demand area, does that. Especially during high season.
Entering the room we had yet another AMAZING surprise. We had been upgraded. They didn’t have any reservations for that particular room during the time we had our small getaway and so they upgraded us from a regular double room to a villa. We were speechless.
While there, my husband came down with a flu and one day he couldn’t make it to have breakfast. The staff not only that didn’t mind me taking it to the room but they prepared some “grandma’s remedies” and took the breakfast tray to the room themselves although it was from the buffet. Again something that very few hotels do or allow their guests to do. We felt like home; more like visiting a grandmother that is spoiling her grandchildren 😊
Everyone from the staff is extremely kind, always with a smile on their face and ready to help.
The hotel itself is very clean. Located pretty remote though just 30 min away from everything, it is in the perfect area if you want to have peace and quiet. Very quiet. Amazing to disconnect and relax. The amenities are nice and the food is delicious. Everyone at Can Lluc is welcoming and a great host. You can feel that they like their jobs and like being there.
Oh and you have to meet Charlie the cat 😊
I will be back :)
The quiet area, the lush gardens and the comfortable villas are a true heaven on earth!
We love to go back!
"The hotel is pretty tucked away on the island, you definitely need a car to get here. It’s recommended to rent a car to explore the island! "Read full review
