We only ate at The Grapes. However, warm and welcoming service accompanied with some fantastic pub food. Topped off our tour of Scotland superbly. We would strongly recommend you pay them a visit if you are in the area.

Lovely welcome on arrival. Given a larger room with ensuite as another guest had cancelled. Nice and clean, slightly cool (cold out) until we turned up radiators. Decided to have evening meal, paid for separately before travelling to the observatory. Pub food but a fair...More

Stopped off here during a two night stay elsewhere in Newcastleton. Husband is vegetarian and finds it difficult sometimes to have "interesting" options rather than the usual omelette (yes, still in this day and age!) or mushroom risotto! Anyway, he made up his own combination...More
