Our first Guest Ranch experience! What a blast! We had no idea what to expect, being Aussies we've never stayed somewhere quite like it.
From the get-go the we felt extremely welcomed, we were given a personal tour of the grounds, enjoyed some fresh cherries from the orchard and were introduced to all the ranch animals.
We settled in, had a good chat with the owners prior to dinner and enjoyed a goods night's rest.
Camel's Hump Guest Ranch also boasts a huge list of additional activities provided by the staff there, from ATV tours, to jet boating, fishing, even snowmobiling!
There's even a great swimming spot (Echo Lake) just a few k's down the road.
I hope we're given the opportunity to stay here again in the future, thank you so much for having us!

We’ve found our new favourite family escape from the city! We spent last weekend at CHGR & can’t wait to go back. Tina was so helpful before we arrived with information on the local area & en route (including an amazing fishing store!) Once we arrived the warm hospitality was so appreciated. Our cabin was cozy, with a wood burning stove & fully stocked with everything you need, including a BBQ on the porch. They set up a bonfire for us on our first night- ready with marshmallows. We rented a boat for the day from CHGR & headed to Echo Lake. Tina & Carter set us up for a fantastic day of trout fishing. We ended our day warming up in the hot tub before cards & darts in the Lodge. Looking forward to our next visit.
