We stayed at the centre for 3 nights utilising this as our base for the weekend for delivering our outdoor first aid course for Mountain Bikers & Kayakers. The owner and staff are all very friendly, great beer and great locals too. Rooms, showers and kitehn area are to a good standard for a bunkhouse style centre. We have been... More

Tony the landlord is absolutely brilliant. He's a fantastic guy who makes everyone feel welcome, and has always provided a fantastic level of service both behind the bar and for accommodation. Fairly priced drinks and great atmosphere

We had 8 in the group and were looking for somewhere to base ourselves for a weekend of touring about. We all agreed that the bunkhouse was way more than we expected, the host has made every effort to make the place attractive and comfortable. He was also most welcoming in the bar attached to the bunkhouse (or should that... More

We Stayed in the bunk house as we were doing activities near by in Ross on wye. Amazing setting, rooms were clean well maintained and warm!! Breakfast was served at 9am as requested and was simple but tasty. Would definitely revisit if I was in the areas.

Very good quality food, home made, great value - ideal for a meal out with family yet no sacrifice on quality at all. 2 Draught beers on tap. Plenty of selection of lagers. Good selection of board games. Free wifi. Small car park opposite by football pitch. What else do you need?

Stayed here with my brother and his family last weekend. We were the only ones in the bunk house which was great. Large sitting room area and reasonable rates. Owners were very friendly and the food and drink was excellent value for money. Highly recommended - great location for family cycle ride in forest or canoeing on the wye.

Stayed here with four others on Saturday 22 February. The bunkhouse was warm and cosy, and the facilities were excellent. There was also a nice shared open plan kitchen and living area. We stayed here as it's only a few minutes drive from the Forest of Dean and we were racing during the Sunday so didn't want to travel home... More
