Another great two weeks on Lake Wabaskang, second trip up this year. Water levels returning to normal as is Border crossing. Ryan and Bridget are great hosts and have continued to make many improvements to the camp during the closure. Comfortable cabins and dependable Yamaha motors along with the usual fine fishing.
After almost 20 years of coming up to Tall Pines it gets better each year.

We had just returned from or vacation to Tall pines. I can’t say enough on how great Ryan and Bridget are. They made crossing the border as easy as it could be at this time. Everything went smooth and we made it back to Canada. The 9 days we were there was heaven on earth. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and the weather was great. The fishing was beyond awesome. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Ryan and Bridget go above and beyond to help new guest with setting them up to where the fish are and what they have used to catch them. Earl is a great asset to have as he will help with anything you need. From helping dock your boat to cleaning your fish! Thank you again Ryan and Bridget for all you do for your guest to make it the most enjoyable time there.

Finally able to return to Tall Pines, thanks to Bridget and Ryan for all the help with the border crossing. Camp it fine shape and fishing great, even with the low water. Enjoyed the experience of being some of the few people on the roads and lakes. Spent two weeks in Camp and totally enjoyed it . Looking forward to returning.

We were excited to again celebrate a most memorable family Canadian fishing experience with the border reopening August 9th and Ryan and Bridget did not disappoint! We are “newbies” at Tall Pines Camp, and the cleanliness of the cabin and Ryan and Bridget’s helpful concern for our ease of getting familiar with a lake new to us and the best fishing spots out of the weeklong wind were greatly appreciated! As always, the scenery and the eagles, loons, and fish are spectacular and enabled us to enjoy many memorable moments on the lake with family and we look forward to next year with more of our family joining us! Earl is super helpful helping us at the dock and reinforces the care and concern of Ryan and Bridget! And on super windy days when fishing is challenging, the blueberry picking is great! The week was short because of the Monday border opening, but Ryan, Bridget, and Earl made it a really memorable trip and a great time with family! Looking forward to next year with more of our family being able to enjoy it with us! Truly a great Canadian family fishing trip!

My husband and I spent a week at Tall Pines Camp at the end of August. Although the weather wasn't cooperative, we still fished everyday in the unusual wind and rain and were successful. Thank you Ryan and Earl for helping us with your guidance. The cabin was very nice and homey, clean and comfortable. But more importantly, the fishing was great and the sunset views were fantastic. The potluck meet and greet with all the other guests was really fun. Guys and gals, be sure to schedule a massage. It was unbelievable! The whole combination made for a great vacation.

As the mom I am not a fisherman, but enjoy hanging out and relaxing with my family and Tall Pines made it very easy to do just that! Spacious and clean. cabins with the basics are included, the view from our cabin was beautiful. The owners are present and available to answer questions about fishing, the lake or what ever comes to mind. With the warm days we had it was nice to explore the coastline in the kayaks or play in the paddle boats when the kids weren’t fishing. We completed puzzles in the evenings, I read 2 books, improved my tan and was able to “borrow” a basketball from the games area. The kids even got in a game of whiffle ball with other visiting kids and adults of all ages had fun watching the “sandlot” game. You won’t regret booking this camp for a peaceful and relaxing get away.

We spent a week at Tall Pines Camp with friends and family. Ryan and Bridget are GREAT hosts. For a mother with 3 children, I was NOT looking forward to the trip. It was a 16-hour trip for us and my idea of a vacation usually includes a beach. But this vacation completely changed my mind. I am definitely not a fisherman, but actually enjoyed going out and catching fish with my husband and kids. We caught LOTS of Northern Pike and Perch and a few Walleye. We had a fish fry one night and the fish was DELICIOUS! One of our boys said it tasted like chicken! Bridget was great at making sure there were a few activities for the women on the trip. I enjoyed yoga on the dock and wild blueberry & red raspberry picking! There were plenty of spots to read a good book and just relax as well. Ryan was great about helping visitors know how to navigate the lake and make sure the boats were ready to go each day. Their new addition, Earl seems to be a great one. He was so friendly and cleaned and filleted all of our fish for us, with a smile on his face! The cabins are well equipped with everything you need for a week’s stay. I did do 2 loads of laundry while we were there and Bridget was there with Canadian coins to swap out our American money for the machines. Our family can’t wait to go back! Oh, and our 12-year old triplets didn’t want to leave!

Thanks so much for making the trip up here; I like how you broke up the long drive with a few stops for the kids on the way to/from Canada. Good times, and glad Tall Pines was better than you were expecting.

This was our first time at Tall Pines Camp and we were very happy with our stay. Bridget and Ryan, the owners, were very personable and friendly. We spent most of the week fishing and would have caught our limit had we chosen not to throw back some of the smaller (but legal) fish. Ryan was helpful in sharing his knowledge of the lake to get us pointed in the right direction. Our cabin was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The Wednesday night potluck was a nice opportunity to meet and chat with the other guests in camp. Big shout out to Earl as well, he had great fish cleaning tips and was on the spot whenever we came into the dock, and with a smile on his face 😊 We totally enjoyed our trip and hope to return in the future.

We have been staying at Tall Pines for over 10 years. My wife and I just returned from another week of fishing. The camp has new owners that are doing a great job stepping right in and taking the reigns. Bridget and Ryan also learned to hire the right help in their new doc hand Earl who has years of experience. The cabins are clean , comfortable and have all the conveniences of home, the boats are fantastic flat bottom 25 to 40 hp fishing is always good with walleye, perch, northern, smallmouth, muskie and crappie filling stringers and livewells. If you need a lodge for your fishing trip don't be afraid to check out tall pines camp.
