Peggy could not have been more helpful, making a tentative restaurant reservation in good time for us to sit outside on a summer's evening. Sadly she had flu just before we arrived and her husband had double-booked the 1st floor Louis XV suite we had reserved months before, which was disappointing. I thought I was being kind giving my friend...

My daughter and I really loved the charm and friendliness of this chateau. Peggy greeted us warmly and helped carry our mounds of luggage up to the room. Because we visited in deep winter the rooms were a little cold. Breakfast was fine and Peggy was very nice during our stay. The only fault of this property is that the...

This is a lovely B&B with old world charm, very tastefully furnished, in close proximity to Vaux le Vicomte Chateau, and Fountainebleau. We enjoyed the lovely garden in the evening. Peggy, the owner is very accomodating, and serves a great breakfast. We would highly recommend it.

This was a lovely spot, and we enjoyed the garden, the furnishings and the lovely breakfast. Peggy was more than helpful and knowledgeable - in fact she delivered a left-behind passport to the train station for us. Thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay at this historic B&B near Fontainebleau. Peggy, our innkeeper, was most accommodating and her beautiful home was comfortable and charming. The rooms all have unique appeal. We had some wine and snacks in the salon before our walk along the river Seine. Peggy discussed with us the history of the Chateau, and suggested wonderful restaurants...

We only wish we could have stayed longer. Read the reviews - see how many people will stay here again if they return to the area. This place is worth your time and your money! We would so love to stay here again when we get to this area again - a gorgeous, grand, and personal place to stay.

You are greeted by a formal chateau garden - yew topiary on lawn and gravel. The perfectly symmetrical chateau opens with a large hallway and a warm welcome from Peggy your host. To the left of the hall is a formal dining room where breakfast is staged and beyond that a grand drawing room - a delight where guests can...

We've just returned from 5 nights at Chateau de Rouillon where we were made to feel extremely welcome by the lovely Peggy and Jean-Jacques. The house is simply beautiful - big, sunny rooms full of lovely pieces of furniture which have been hand-picked by Peggy and Jean-Jacques to create a sumptuous yet still homely feel. During our stay Peggy was...

Stayed four nights at the Chateau de Rouillon. It was amazing. Lots to do locally, music festivals, fountainbleau, vaux-le-vicomte, markets, and the french countryside. The accomadation was great - we had a suite with a living area and a bedroom. Lots of room compared to Paris. Peggy was a great hostess, and breakfast was nice with homemade jam. Would absolutely...
