We always pop in here and it has got better and better over the last ten years. It is cosy and homely, clean and ascetically pleasing ...and now it does gluten free pizzas and puddings! Hooray! The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and tasty and we always look forward to stopping here.

This pub is well worth stopping on a main road for lunch. The service was extremely polite and fast. The food was very nicely presented and well cooked. Nice homely surroundings. Look out for seating out of sight of the bar right next to the river.

“We had room 4, which I would try for again. Rooms 1 and 2 are closer to the bar but it is not a noisy bar so would imagine that is also fine.”
