A lovely peaceful pub to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Plenty of indoor seating. Low ceilings giving a warm and cosy feel. Wide selection of food on the menu which looked nice however we only had a drink

Stunning location, lovely hotel & great for a relaxing break... although didn't have the best nights sleep which was very disappointing . Would like to visit in the summer to enjoy the location & gardens

Hotel was very clean & in beautiful setting. I want a light evening meal without starch so ordered salmon starter as main. the portion was minuscule and extremely overpriced for the size @ £9.50. The big disappointment was that there was no Gideon bible in the room which means I won't be staying again

Lovely hot chocolate & coffee with a good selection of beer. Great base for those that didn't want to walk up to the mill . Lovely grounds and beer garden , dogs welcome too. Rooms for accommodation were very expensive

Perfect in every way but would tend to dine elsewhere as a bit pricey in the restaurant. Will return as soon as possible. Location ideal, breakfast first class, there is nothing to dislike. Close to Stow, Bourton on the Water, Broadway etc.

great place, quiet, lovely food, but very expensive - bar, food, and especially accommodation. staff all professional and helpful, everywhere clean, breakfast perfect. Only reason for not returning is extortionate prices

Visited around midday. Nice surroundings in the bar area. Also lounges to sit in also. Food served in the bar area, seats bit hard no cushions. There is a sofa. But too low to eat comfortably. Had the cold meats sharing platter. A bit expensive for what you get. Service excellent staff attentive and friendly. Have visited there many times...

The service was brilliant, the team were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. The room was clean, comfortable and quite even though it was near reception. The location was perfect for a wedding or any celebration, there's so much to see and so much history. The only down side was the cost of the drinks were a little...

Stayed for a couple of nights with friends. Lovely hotel, we had a very large room with a sitting area and a beautiful ensuite. Afternoon tea was very nice and to much for us all to eat. A walk up to upper slaughter was very enjoyable and lower slaughter is extremely pretty. Good weekend break, would definitely go again.

Excellent 2 night couples mini break for New Year's Eve. Included gala dinner NYE Amy dinner with Magician (excellent) the following night. Whole experience was 5 star and most enjoyable. Nice area for day time walks. Breakfast a little chaotic, believe staff had led them down. Ladies please note they don't supply any hair conditioner
